You got it right on about truck heights. They are crazy high these days and I am not understanding why they keep making them taller and taller.

I commute daily in a 74 horsepower Mirage and am in the fast lane doing 80-90 every single day. I have driven it on 8 hour plus trips multiple times and never had any issues. Is it noisy compared to more expensive cars? Sure, but its not that noisy. If you think a small car gets blown all over the highway it is only

They can still bring it here and sell it as a Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi brought out the Mirage which was designed for emerging markets and it sells well for them. The people buying it do not care about a luxurious and quiet interior. The people who would but this would probably be the same. Personally, I don’t care about

I always felt that Infiniti’s were for brand snobs that could not afford the lease payment of a Lexus or German brand, but still wanted a “luxury” badge on their car. Now that Genesis is around, Infiniti has to either up their game or price themselves under Genesis and their much better cars.

The rear looks odd at some angles but it is really sharp for the most part. That interior is just stunning. I really need 2 more jobs.

I love how it looks with the modern wheels. It looks like a current kei truck!

I think I’m in love.

A $3,100 car at that time would not have been too bad either!

I have been poor as dirt and could have easily gotten myself into financial trouble like these folks. The reason why I did not is because I was taught to be financially responsible at a young age. Yes I may have been broke as hell and struggling but I knew that things like this would only make my situation worse.

It still looks like the passenger compartment of the Escape deformed much more than the Jimny. Neither look too terrible.

Yes! They should sell them as kits and ship them here. I would totally build one myself.

Spot on. The structure of the Jimny is still intact compared to that Escape. The Escape might have better autonomous braking so that makes it safer according to these types of tests. Sure.

It does not look that bad to me. The structure seems to stay relatively intact. The electronic devices mean nothing to me since I actually pay attention to the road and know when to stop the car all by myself. I would still buy this thing in a heartbeat.

If they made a van that had a lot of these design elements in it, I would so be all over it. Isn’t it the future already? I have been waiting for cars to look like this since I was about 4.

I was going to ask this question and you may know. When using to brake in traffic, do the brake lights illuminate? So many idiots that don’t pay attention to you slowing down so I could see that being an issue.

Everytime I drive in my friends Odyssey I comment on how much I like that feature. Such a simple solution that others should have copied.

This looks terrible and the execution is even worse. Screens, SCREENS FOR EVERYTHING! I hope that the US does not change the laws and keeps mirrors as they are since this just adds more distractions to already distracting cars. More buttons to search for and more screens to look at does not make the car better. They
