Yeah it was a bit harsh after reading it back again. Something about the front bumper that says Mitsubishi to me. Except it is done in a much nicer, less desperate way on the Audi.

At 50 grand it could be a consideration but at 60+ you can get a much nicer class b RV that has a bathroom. That is the problem they will run into bringing it to the US. RV’s are much more expensive in other countries. If they can find a way to get the price down to 50,000 max then they may do well. People are really…
I think that it looks ok. I would not say elegant but would compare it to Mitsubishi’s recent design language but more mature.
The Frontier is a fine truck. Basic, reliable, affordable and does all of the tasks that trucks are supposed to do. Not sure why people complain about it and then at the same time complain that there are not any basic trucks anymore.
If someone panics like that behind the wheel of a vehicle, then that person should consider not getting behind the wheel of any vehicle.
I would have to say an early 2000's Buick LeSabre. I say LeSabre over the Park Avenue because it looks like it has wrap around rear taillights, unlike Park Avenue which had a rear parking light located in the rear bumper. Another thing that makes me say LeSabre is the rounded corners on the top of the windshield.
I totally would have bought that thing. I love that it is so different. SsangYong seems like the Korean version of Citroen in that they are not afraid to take risks with design. We need more of that in automotive design. I imagine the design meeting discussions going something like this... Lets design our own fastback…
Me too. My car is ready to be traded and there is nothing that I want. The new Veloster N may be an option but it the new Veloster is not good looking at all.
Those controls are still modern yet just as easy as the older cars were to use while keeping your eyes on the road. Great design.
I agree with this. I actually like the idea of the Veloster but there is something about the way it looks that is such a turnoff. In fact I really used to like Hyundai’s style direction but they have gone really off course on some key product lines. The Accent was a terrible redesign, the Sonata looks good for 2018…
Exactly. They are minivans that have huge rear doors that kids can slam into other cars.
Although this was brought up in a previous article, this needs to be done to Mitsubishi Mirages in the U.S.. They are cheap enough that almost anyone can get a taste of racing.
I had a smart car for a few years and I thought it was such a well put together little car. There were some shortcomings in regards to the transmission being odd at first but the car itself felt solid and strong.
The Captiva is so damn meh that GM could not even bother to call it Captivate. Deleting the 2 letters could save a few thousand dollars during the time it was built, and since it is so damn meh nobody would ever care or notice. But they could have done even better and just continued to call it the Vue because nobody…
I am in a lot of camping groups for people that own small campers and quite a few people in those groups were waiting for this to come out so they could buy them to tow their campers since it has a 5,000 pound tow rating. So my question is how does it tow with a CVT?
I wish I could feel that way about cars as it would save a lot of money.
I don’t think it is anything in particular for me. I just get bored driving the same car over and over day in and day out. I have never had any issues with the cars per se, but after about 3 years I am done with it and want another. I should probably lease but I have always financed for some reason but I don’t buy…
I love the back of it. I actually think it is the best part of the car. What cars have you designed?
Oh yeah you need something like this!
That is for sure because electric and RV don’t really go together right now. Maybe if there were fast chargers everywhere it would be ok. or wireless charging built into the roads. But since this is Murica that won’t be happening anytime soon.
