Exactly. They already have the Amanti name, just use that instead. Way better than K900 or K9 at least in the U.S.

That’s exactly what the U.S. needs from VW, another boring crossover that will not be as good as it Japanese or even Korean competition.

It is still one of the best cruise control designs that is extremely easy to use without taing eyes off of the road.

Exactly. They do not require you to take your eyes off the road to use them and that should be the goal for all automotive designers.

If they want to compete with the Wrangler they are going to have to do something because a new SUV on an Escape platform is not going to do it. Maybe they can come up with a new small SUV using the new Ranger? I work in a hospital so what the hell do I know about building cars! lol

Were Trackers and Sidekicks really that hard to develop? A modern Tracker could be great actually.

That would be a great idea for aftermarket companies to do! An extra battery that would fit in the trunk or backseat would be great.

Automakers just do not get that most people research the crap out of a car before they buy it. As soon as you look up Fiesta or Focus problems you see transmission issues. At that point, the car is marked off the shopping list and that person will move on to another car. They should have taken care of the transmission

That car looks soooo good.

Something the size and price range of a Renegade but with REAL truck parts would be awesome!

Yeah it would not really make sense although the range of the i-miev is terrible. But you would essentially get a U.S. version of a Nano after you were done, if someone really wanted one. I would have considered an i-miev if they were to have a range of about 120-150 miles. It is a shame that they could not have

I should have read this before I commented! I knew I was not crazy, the Fortwo motor and tranny would work just fine in an i-miev.

I thought that the I-miev and the Smart Fortwo shared a platform? I would think that the drivetrain from the Fortwo would work perfectly in an i-miev. If it does not just bolt right up, it should be a fairly easy swap.

I am so jealous! I have been hoping that Tata would bring that thing over here since it came out! I am obsessed with cheap-ass small cars and this is perfection. I really wish that they would have added the safety features, beefed up things like the wheel bearings and such to handle our way of driving and brought them

Adult humans have choices. A dog in a cage does not have a choice. They should not be used as accessories and taken everywhere. Also, trolls should not be on the internet but alas, here you are.

They may not have done any wrong according to United’s rules, but they did wrong by their dog. People treat these little dogs like cell phones that have to be carried everywhere with them. It is a life with emotions and was probably extremely stressed being on a plane to begin with so it should have stayed home where

I am with you 100%. Dogs are not meant to be on planes as it is way too stressful for them. They do not understand what is happening so they never calm down. We love having our dog with us all the time so we ended up buying a camper. If we go somewhere that requires being on a plane, she will spend a few days with her

There are a lot of people that want one. We just don’t want one for $40,000 or even $30,000. It needs to be like the original, small, simple, cheap and unique.

I think that they were working on a next generation currently.

Exactly right! And by Microbus we mean MICRObus. Not a friggin standard sized minivan with round headlights. I want a small van that also has a camper version available. And it needs to be affordable! It does not need to be fast, be an amazing handler, full of luxe materials and so on. Keep things simple and cheap and
