100%. This is my issue with electric cars. There are extreme cases of being stuck on the highway in snowstorms for 6+ hours. I would not feel comfortable with my family driving an EV in winter conditions. It is rare that something like that happens but it does at least one time every winter. I still have yet to see…
That’s true. There are plenty of ways to power your EV. Once gas runs out or eventually turns bad from sitting, you will still be able to generate electricity from many sources. An electric would probably be the best apocalypse vehicle. Oh and less maintenance to keep it running.
That is how I feel about them too. I live in Cleveland where it snows so there are times where we can be in traffic for 2 hours on the way to or from work during a snow storm. How much range will there be when sitting there with the heat, headlights, wipers, rear defogger and radio on? Plus, how much range is lost…
