Did not like it then but compared to all of the bloated, swoopy, overdone cars that are out now, it looks good.

Exactly. The non-existant charging infrastructure in middle America would be instantly taken care of and it would make the car a viable option for people living in middle America. GM has the opportunity to get rid of range anxiety with this car. People would be able to easily travel across the country without any fear…
They would instantly have more charging stations than Tesla if they offered charging at dealers. Does not even have to be free, but at least offer it so anyone that would consider it, know it can be charged pretty much anywhere.
Exactly! They want a car to sell yet they are not showing it off like they are proud of it. They make no effort at all to sell it or make people want it. If it is an electric car for the masses, then why not advertise it to the masses?
Dude! That is awesome. It hurts me because I have no place to put it! That is the kind of project car I would love.
No way! I did not think that they could be had that cheaply. If I were not buying travel trailer now, I would totally have a to get one. In a few years for sure. Plus I need a big pole barn to keep everything.
I will take a dog over the vast majority of people any day.
I will have one of these in my garage one day. One of my all-time favorites.
Only very naive people would think that $3500 was a good deal for an old Echo, so I guess he priced it right.
It would not be the first time. At one time the rear of the Accord looked more like it was trying to be the Honda Genesis.
For me it is not even about being cheap. I just love small cheap cars! My cheap hatchback obsession started when I was just a baby and mom had a 1978 Honda Civic CVCC. I was obsessed with that car even as little kid. By 1984 when she would take me to Kindergarten I would poke my umbrella through the rust hole in the…
I say fuck birds on a daily basis. I take care of my in-laws car for them and I told them not to put out bird feeders because birds will be everywhere and crap all over the car. Well they did it anyway and now their car does not look nice anymore. Awwwww, look at the pretty birds!
I was sold on that life as soon as you said meatloaf. I will pass on the lima beans.
That is the problem with Hyundai. They make good cars but they are not memorable cars. They do not offer anything different than the others to make themselves stand out or be remembered.
5 years older and it would be NP. $7500 for a 1970 that still needs some work is a CP for sure.
Or you can save 12 grand and just buy this one with 64,000 miles.
I want to see how they would respond to a snow plow with flashing lights or something like mall security. Oh, and the plow just reminded me... How are autonomous cars going to drive in snow?
They were not a great driving car compared to a Miata from the same time, but they were much more comfortable and roomy. They really are not bad looking either.
These pics make me want to look for one now. They are pretty nice looking little convertibles.
You are speaking the truth right here. Update the IMIEV and give it a 150+ mile range, fast charging and a bit nicer interior and it would probably sell in decent numbers.
