Yea. I see them online all the time but I would love to drive one to see what it is like.

I am in Cleveland where we have NOTHING.

This can not be hard for a manufacturer to do. I guess I could do it myself but I would prefer to just buy it already done.

I would trade my car tomorrow for a factory NV200 or Chevy City Express that was finished inside like a small camper. There are companies out there that do it but it does not need to be as nice as those. Add some windows that open and close, insulate the interior a bit, a bench that turns into a bed and hookups for

I agree with that 100%. I do not think that it will be a van like the Pacifica or Odysssey, I think it will be something more utilitarian like an NV200 with a place to sleep and so on. People like having a more nomadic lifestyle today and it would be nice if they had vehicles that can do it all without being $40,000.

That does not look bad at all!

I have already decided that I am getting a Japanese import when my car is paid for and the Honda Beat is top on my list as well. I think I could quickly get used to driving on opposite side of the car.

Nothing irritates me more than supposed car people talking about “soft touch” plastics. They are friggin’ machines and they are awesome machines and it is ok to hear that machine when you drive. I swear it is like listening to a bunch of twats at times. Oh the dashboard is hard plastic, I can hear everything that the

Damn right. If you want soft touch plastics and to be isolated completely from the road, go buy a Camry.

My dad did bodywork his whole life and my brother and I paid attention. We are able to do a lot so the quarter panel rust would not deter me. It can all be repaired and done better than it was originally. Especially because Honda did such a horrible job at rust prevention during that era.

The fact that they took a cheapo Lancer and made it into the EVO was the appeal of the car. A cheap interior on a car like this did not matter then, and it really does not matter now as long as the car has the performance to make you forget about the hard plastics. Part of what made these cars fun is that they were

I have always like the Del Sol. I would grab one if I found a nice Si on the cheap.

The country is much bigger than just California. To be a success, they need to sell them in decent amounts and that is a lot more than what just Californians will buy.

A $40,000 small van with a 250 mile or so range will not sell to many people. But, a $25,000 gas powered small van would be a great crossover alternative for a lot of people. I will also get the crowd that likes the retro look of it or people that just want to be different. They are going to sell this electric van

I agree with not being able to hear things. Back in the day you could hear a siren from a mile away in a car now with certain cars, they almost have to be on you before you hear it. I don’t have to worry about that as I can hear someone sneeze a block away in the car I drive.

I have been to NYC a lot and I have never had an issue with a cab driver. In fact, a few years ago I was there for a week and made friends with a cab driver that even went to have drinks with us and took us everywhere.

Yes! I agree with this 100%. I don’ think that any automaker could justify designing a new cheap RWD econo-car but someone like Toyota could use the 86 chassis that is already made and throw in a cheaper drivetrain, interior, normal hatchback body and so on. It could be a new Starlet.

It is beautiful in a very Japanese way, which I like. It amazes me that people will stare at a car like this, take pictures of it and so on, because they think it is beautiful, but they just do not buy them. I am looking forward to the FauxUV trend to end and see what types of cars will be desired next. I actually

Absolutely. Nothing drives down the perception of the car more than button blanks. It reminds me of my first car a 1990 Hyundai Excel. Ok so it is nowhere close to being that bad, but I am still disappointed by them.

It looks especially dumb considering that they could easily mold a piece of plastic shaped as a coin holder, key fob holder or anything other than just plain button blanks.
