My brother just finished one of these. He uses it to take his wife and kids to the beach and so on.

That is the experience with every CVT that I have driven. I can’t imagine a world where our only option is a CVT, but I think that we may be heading towards that.

I would be curious to see if there is any info on what the acceleration forces were. I remember when they came out they would always advertise that it used the crumple zones of the other car so it did not need any of it’s own. Probably marketing BS.

Now playing

This video did that for me. Not to say that every small car would crash well against a larger one, but with good engineering they can be fairly safe.

I would be curious to see that. It is very unlikely that a Mirage will crash into a Mirage in the real world. They should crash small cars against larger ones so people can see what real world crashes would look like. Plus, crash videos are just awesome.

New Mirage against old Mirage? I would think that the new Mirage would destroy the old one.

Don’t fret, they still make a car to fulfill your 90's econobox dreams.

Oh that’s a good one. They should call that test the skull crusher.

I already have gotten nothing done at work today as it is! I will look for it right now!

The most scientific one would probably be the Nissan Tsuru vs. Nissan Versa crash. They were both brand new cars with one being based off of a 1990 design.

I love showing these videos to people who think old cars are so safe. The one from a few years back with a Malibu against a Chevy from the 50's is especially good.

This woman may have PTSD and possibly other issues because of this assholes poor decisions. Accidents can happen to anyone, but when you put yourself into a situation where you could potentially kill people because you are impaired then you deserve being thrown onto a highway.

I am the same way. I am driving so I can talk and have fun in the car. It is one thing if we are on an open highway but leave me alone when I am paying attention to what is going on. You can hear everything that the car is doing if you pay attention. Of course that explaines when I get into their car and ask why they

Not an outlier at all. I think that this is the better looking truck for sure.

Only with the 1.8L V6.

The Renault is much much nicer.

Exactly. Crossovers are hatchbacks with lift kits. Wagons actually have a useful amount of cargo space in the back.

What is most amazing to me is how well the passenger compartment of modern cars stay together these days. 20 years ago that car would have been literally wrapped around that pole.

Exactly. Although there are Fiesta ST’s and Fiat 500 Abarth’s available for true entry level fun, there needs to be more of those types of cars available. Where is the Versa Note Nismo, Mitsubishi Mirage Ralliart or Spark RS? These cars are already made so is it really that hard to throw a turbo in them and make

I think it is awesome and would drive one in a second. But this is coming from someone who would love to have a Yugo so maybe my sense of reasoning is a bit off.
