Those are beautiful. That is a great idea to bring out something with a short front end. If they can make Smart Fortwo’s safe then they can do it with any car.

Maybe they can just use the platform of the Smart ForTwo/ForFour and make a VW version of it with Beetle styling. The platform is already made and we know Smart is not selling a lot of them, so it may make more sense to spread the platform around with different looking bodies on it.
I would absolutely drive that. If they could undercut the others on price, I would use it to pull a camper.
For sure. When I was a little kid my mom had a 1979 Honda Civic CVCC and it was about 6 years old and it had to go to be junked because of rust. The rust was so bad that I would take my umbrella and touch the tire with it while sitting on the back seat when my mom would drive me to kindergarten. She asked what the…
My favorite wagon. My dad had a nice blue one with a manual when I was a kid. I rarely see them around these days.
Yes. The G20 always reminded me of a Cadillac Cimarron of sorts. A really nice Sentra.
I am already bored with the news of the new NSX and it has not even been released yet.
I live in a city and would not buy a Microbus because the point of me getting one would be for long roadtrips with the dog.
Talk about being behind the curve. As long as it takes for VW to sell something here that people want just shows why they have such trouble in the US. They have been showing a bus concept since 2001 (in my opinion the best one) and nothing has come of it. Maybe if they would have built it then, my morning commute…
I would love to have a car that does 0-60 in 3 seconds but in reality, I would never have the chance to use it. It’s hard to do when you have cars constantly in front of you barely doing the speed limit and going from stoplight to stoplight. Unless you are on a track or live in a place without any traffic it makes no…
Isn’t that the slogan the salesman uses when he tries to sell you that Malibu that just came out of service from Enterprise?
I always loved that concept. Something like that would be way more interesting than the econoboxes that are actually produced. I would totally commute to work in a CCV.
It’s beautiful even today.
I wish. I would buy that right now. As long as it is reasonably quick
I find it fascinating that they have gone from making cars like the Mediocrity (all I think of when I see that generation Optima), to the Stinger in such a short amount of time. The problem is that they made cars like that at all. I personally do not care what brand name is on a car, but lots do and for some the name…
That would be kinda hot too!
Yes there are a few manufacturers that they can probably get a truck from. I think that the Santa Cruz is a great concept and if it is done properly it may be a decent seller, but it has to be priced right. I would think that it has to be priced quite a bit less than the Ridgeline to sell in any decent numbers and it…
That is true. Maybe Chrysler discontinuing the 200 will help with sales a bit.
I am not understanding why they need so many crossovers. They already have the Tucson, Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport. Maybe they can make one even smaller than the Tucson and one bigger then the 7 passenger Santa Fe. Maybe do what Mazda has done and make the entry level car a crossover and eliminate the Accent.
That was when they started getting competitive with the others. I have a friend that has one of that generation now and it has been a great car. 4 cylinder with over 200,000 miles on it. I am pretty sure it may be close or over 260,000 actually. Still looks good in and out without any rust issues either. She bought it…
