I don't think you know what innovative means. Touchscreen phones existed long before the iPhone. Tablets existed long before the iPad.

I'm going to patent a 'communication device that uses wireless spectrum to transmit voice, text and media' and then sue the everloving shit out of everyone who's ever made a smartphone.

Surprise! The big bully of the tech world wins the court case. Why is Apple allowed to exist, again? Sure, their products are nice, but their business practices are fucking sickening.

Not really.

Are you the kind of person who likes to up their post count on forums because it lengthens their e-penis?

Right, so every best selling game for a handheld ever is irrelevant, despite all of them showing the trait that I've so painstakingly described?

It's been proven by sales figures.

My source is the ubisoft E3 press conference and the end of the bloody video up top.

Well, since Ubisoft themselves announced it at E3 as a WiiU exclusive, I think I'll trust them over you.

So you're now going to contradict something that has been proven time and time again just to defend your precious Sony? Brilliant, I am truly amazed.

Think of your favourite portable game. I'm going to make a pretty safe bet here and suggest that it's quickfire, easy to pick up and play and doesn't take forever to get into the game. Why do you think Angry Birds, Canabalt and the like are so popular? Click the app, start the game, play for 10 minutes or so, put it

How about emulated Okami? http://deadendthrills.com/?cat=172

Because 90% of the time they are games that do not translate well to portables, and it's this that Sony fell down on with the PSP and are doing the same again with the Vita - home console style games do not work on portables.

THANK YOU BASED GABEN

They did it before in Lego Batman 2, and it worked surprisingly well. Batman 2 was very cleverly written and ended up being very funny - hopefully this should be the same.

At least there's a settings option for that - you can have an on-screen home button or gesture or something. It's been a while since I had an iOS device. I think it's under accessibility.

All I'm saying is that the world needs to be a little more apprehensive instead of hyping this thing up crazily. The people behind it have no track record, so it could easily be a flop.

Because it'll never live up to Smash since Sony don't have their own Sakurai, unfortunately.

Well no, if we're honest, Sega were in a pretty poor position towards the end of the Genesis' life, especially since hype around the Saturn was low. Besides, that's a totally different situation - the PLaystation was a full-blown console with stratospheric levels of hype, not just within gaming circles, but to the

I'm pissed it got so much funding because it goes against the core idea of video games. "Let's make all games free or cheap with a free trial!" Because that worked so well for 99% of iOS games, I guess? Yes, I can spend £30 on apps on the iOS/Android stores if I wanted. I could also spend £30 on Kid Icarus: Uprising.
