They need to step up and do something cool. Maybe something like the Mercedes mono-wiper that reaches further towards the corners? Heck, even an opposed wiper systems like what you used to see on 3rd & 4th gen Grand Caravans would be better than this. Anything but this seems like a better option.

I love how for Republicans it’s a huge bonus when their candidates attended a school like Yale, but when it’s a Democratic candidate who attended the same school they are “liberal elites.”

This is my concern, whether Trump endorses/campaigns for him or not. There are a lot of Republicans who don’t like Trump but who will find DeSantis a whole lot less objectionable because accomplishes the same hateful agenda that Trump and the base wants, without saying the quiet part out loud. 

I think his appeal outside of Florida is that he’s not trump. The question is would he get a meaningful endorsement from trump. Common wisdom is no, trump is not capable of that kind of thing.

I read a piece of DeSantis last year that argued that his appeal outside of Florida and a very Trumpian base is pretty slim, and that winning a general election would be difficult for him. That said, I thought the piece generally underestimated how well DeSantis has taken the Trump playbook and run with it. He’s good…
