I think you answered your own question.

I think it follows similar to paint colors. The majority of people buy whats on the lot. Yes some of that is consumer preference, but it is dealers first filtering that those decisions are. Go to an auto show, a much larger percent of the cars are bright colors. Then go to a lot and see a sea white, grey and black.

researchers looked at a host of sources of historic information, including tree rings, ice cores, lake and sea sediments, corals, mineral deposits and written records.

Not nearly as much,  as they can use gasoline engine heat to warm up the batteries. Also hybrids will reduce the same in winter as a gas engine.

yeah but if the testing doesn’t replicate what a consumer will see/do it can be meaningless. “lets put 50k miles on this vehicle non stop and see what it looks like.’ If it is going one test driver to the next, it never sees the start up, warm up, shut down, cool down, cycle.

In defence of the dealer, if the person isn’t paying enough federal taxes, they wouldn’t have been able to collect the full or at least a sizeable amount of the tax credit.

Nissan, Hyundai, GM and Tesla have projects using ‘old” batteries at 50% to reduce demand spikes on grids.

problem is where do you get the hydrogen from. Currently the cheapest is natural gas which isn’t super cheap or enviromentally friendly. Or you use electricity, and if your using large amounts of electricity, why not just use/store that.

My dumbass cousin got a crew cab with long bed “it was 12k off” then came to learn probably due to it needing it to do a 8 point turn in every parking lot.

(looks up how close Synder Penn, to where grandma was from in Scranton)

use the mini pretzel as one of those mini spoons or they quickly get all soggy.
