I have to say, someone whom spends time fixing computers at all, needs to have cables dangling, no point me keeping them all tidy only to swap around a monitor cable, and spend ages un-tidying.
My web browsing monitor is portrait running 1050 x 1680, as very few websites are more than 1024 wide, and alot taller, it fits perfectly.

@jerkstore99: I see what your saying, but the main thing people do with their laptops is transfer files, to transfer my files from my laptop to my desktop, I normally sit them next to each other.

@unruled: Exactly, I did try and use the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with my iMac, but I use them too often to warrent batteries. Its not because of the cost, or having to stop to swap them over, its because its a massive pain when you have no batteries left!
