That's a really strange comparison to make.
That's a really strange comparison to make.
I was planning to sell my manual 135i because I have too many cars. Yesterday, I took it out on a spirited drive in the santa cruz mountains - to pick up 50 lbs of tomatoes - with the kids. One of them threw up. But I had a goddamned blast and changed my mind on the sale.
I don't understand this article. Why didn't you publish something earlier? It wasn't as perfect as you'd hoped and hyped and you didn't want egg on your faces?
Nothing makes sense long term when it comes to making shareholders happy. What makes them happy is 9/10 times what will make the company go under long term. Nobody cares. The people making these decisions will make their millions and bounce on to the next investment once they’ve milked this one dry.
Mitsubishi would very much appreciate your 2 million
My new trillionaire fantasy is going to Mitsubishi and being like “call anyone who worked on the Pajero Dakar program 20 years ago and build me a singular brand-new street-legal SUV with a hilarious engine/transmission combo. Here’s two million bucks to get the ball rolling.”
Andrew, it sounds like you need to figure out why the truck is over-heating in what is really normal driving. is it low on coolant? Have you replaced the fan clutch (if it has a viscous fan)? How are the water pump impellers? it shouldn’t just be getting hot “cause you’re driving it.” My old volvo would be…
Serious question. Did the Monteros’ have a cooling issue when new as in they just do not have the capacity to cool the heat load of going 70mph uphill loaded or is this due to age? I know in the previous article you had the radiator re-cored etc... Just wondering if it not a engineering design issue, is there some…
ugh....the people in the slowlane who go 85 then 55 then 90 then 65 then 55, then 75.
Article: Driving with windows down exposes you to whatever is in the outside air more than if they were closed.
I was thinking this.
I don’t see a major or even minor EU or North American city on the list. This headline could have easily been “living in an developing nation that pollutes like its 1977 LA is bad for your health.”
Correct headline: idling in traffic with your windows down in developing countries with minimal pollution controls increases your exposure to pollution (which may or may not be a meaningful increase that has health outcomes because we didn’t test that).
If a little “curb contact” busts a ball joint or breaks a control arm, your car is a piece of shit. Go walk down your street and you’ll probably find curb rash on 9 out of 10 sets of wheels. Then note how many of them also have busted ball joints.
I think for every one white nationalist you have 1,000 focused on just living their lives, which is also true across other races. People act in ways that serve their own self-interests. I don’t see people of any particular skin color who are inherently better at heart than any other.

I don’t think I would include the wing floats. They appear to be for balance and aren’t the primary means of flotation. That’s the key as I see it. The hull versus floats for primary means of flotation.
come again?
If the US government developed this plane, it would DEFINITELY use them in military applications.
Trust no military.
Wouldn’t this technically be a flying boat?
