My dad’s 05 Taurus wagon. First learned to drive in it during road trips through northern BC and Alberta, and then drove it tons before I had my own cars. Sometimes while I had my own cars, they were broken fairly often...

That sucks that it was totaled, but I can fully understand trading one for an E39, they’re fantastic cars

I do quite like the interior, but I guess it is a bit dated compared to the rest of the car.

I was in a dealer last winter and couldn’t believe how closed in and dark the interiors feel in the new Legacy and even the Impreza. The dash and everything is so much higher than mine, plus yeah the whole car is more bloated.

I have no plans to sell mine, but I’ve been curious how much it might sell for. It may be an auto 2.5i, but it only has 47k kms on it

I may be biased, but I think the 05-09 Legacy holds up quite well

The E31 looks less dated than the new 8 Series

The awful 2015 Yaris I drove for work for a couple years had a single wiper, and it was 3 speed. On, Fast, and Very Fast. Oh and there was a rear wiper, but it was just either on or off. Useless thing.

Jesus. I’ve been pretty much run off the road by an angry trucker, he kept tailgating me, passing when he had room, and then slowing down until I passed him. Eventually I braked hard right before a steep hill, then gunned it up the hill. He apparently had a fast as balls and empty rig, and caught up with me by the top

The front end on the Vitz is so, so much better than the garbage front end they’re selling over here.

I don’t hate the Prius for what it is, I hate it for the terrible drivers who usually own them. Prii are one of the cars that automatically put me on guard for bad driving. It doesn’t help that half of them are taxis driven by blind assholes.

I think you might be right, I was thrown by the lack of a flat front, while still being COE

That wheelbase looks pretty long for an in-town truck, and it appears to have a sleeper. Unless the batteries are in there.

In 2014 I was driving from Montreal back to Vancouver with a friend, in my ‘97 Blazer with a non-functioning gas gauge. I had driven it enough to get a pretty good feel for when I needed gas, and on the highway, that was roughly 600km, depending on conditions. I was also under the impression I had about a smaller tank

Thanks! It’s not as clean as it looks in that picture, but it is a solid one

1985 seems like it was an odd time.

That’s awesome, but it wasn’t the same one. This one was bought new by my friend’s grandparents in Alberta, and has been in Alberta or BC since then

It didn’t list one, and they haven’t sold it even with a sign on it all summer, so probably quite a high ask

If I had the space, there’s a good chance I’d have already bought it

As far as things I know live in my neighbourhood, there’s this old Nissan pickup, and an Acadian Canso
