Fairly easy NP even if I have no interest in one. Price actually seems low enough that someone could probably snag it, invest in a full detailing and some good photography, then make a couple grand more on BaT.

I miss small, functional city cars so much. If I was still in Korea, my Kia Ray would be getting a little long in the tooth, so I’d probably be looking at one of these.
I completely understand the current NP/ND ratio, but still, I think this truck is a nice price for SOMEONE. That someone is a semi-retired boomer with plenty of money and wants their fun weekend car. They want a convertible, but aren’t a Miata guy, and also want a semi-modern driving experience (but still have a…
If I make a moderately reasonable copy of a Picasso, can I get a quarter of the real deal’s price for it?
There’s no reason why an almost 30y/o Jeep with tons of finnicky bits to break should be a great deal at almost $10k, but the combination of the nameplate, the fake wood veneer, and the condition makes it seem like a stunningly low number for the market. Ad is already gone, so other folks probably thought so as well.
$7500+$2500 would be a fair deal in line with the market for a running example, but how can we know that the battery pack is all this truck needs? The list of things the seller already replaced doesn’t really inspire confidence, just shows there are likely more things that’ll need to be fixed.
ND because there is no such thing as a “cheap” Ferrari. This one especially seems like a ticking time bomb.
It’s obviously a ND, but what makes it even worse is that it’s not even the bones of an interesting car. It’s a 30 year old base model economy car. Even if it were complete, a 1992 Nissan Sentra isn’t worth $1800, not even in the current market.
I don’t think there is a single car from the 1980's that I would spend $15k on, personally. You’d have to be absolutely insane to spend $15k on this one.
If they want customers to come in person, why not just flat out make the policy and state “we only provide price quotes in person.”
Seems like that would be easier for everyone involved.
Normal folks go to Disney Plus for their fantasy-escapism and warm-cuddly feels. GOPers go to Fox News for the same.
All credit cards have a PIN, just most American card issuers don’t automatically tell you that PIN for some strange reason and require customers to make a separate request to have the PIN mailed to them.
The target demographic for these might be getting a bit older, but it’s still the look, color, and spec they want as a weekend toy. Not a show car, but would seem to be a solid driver. Seems to be a fair price reflecting all of that.
I’ll never understand the mindset of folks who think it is a requirement to stand during the national anthem and that failing to do so is somehow disrespectful to armed forces. For most of our history, the anthem wasn’t played before sporting events because organizers thought it would be “disrespectful” to associate…
Mid-80's sedan featured in what looks like a mid 90's magazine with mid-00's stereo components and picture quality. I think the TVA is going to be paying this car a visit.
We really shouldn’t be calling the Grand Tour specials “car shows.” They are scripted, character-driven comedies that happen to have an automotive theme.
“So if you are a guy, always make sure you you make a point of saying you are buying with your husband, and if you are a woman then buying with your wife. If you are intersex, trans, or non binary, you are already covered, but you might want to say you are buying with your lawyer.”
....so that way you can receive equal…
That body/soul stuff is a reference to the old interlocking triangles/star of David logo, not the fratzog logo.
Fair price for the market I guess? I can’t understand why anyone would want to spend that much on one of these, but apparently people do. I’m a bit bothered by the fact that the warning lights are passed off as minor issues, but the seller hasn’t bothered to just get them fixed.
....you’re putting waaaaaay too much thought into this IMO.
