Tough crack pipe here. Even though the car is incredibly clean and the mods are well done, pretty much everyone in the market for a late model luxury sedan has zero interest in all that (in fact it’s probably a negative, with the manual and all the power making it more difficult to drive). Not sure if it’s there for

So for merely paying thousands more, I can get an older, slower car that’s never going to be a classic and most everyone will assume is a Volkswagen? Where do I sign?!?

Given the post a while back regarding the pain and suffering your head follicles cause, is it really a good idea to inflict it on a national audience?

For the record, it wasn’t just women as I was a member of the “energy team” back in university (and we also didn’t wear puffy jackets, at least not in my day). This was in Colorado, so my team didn’t drive the Mini as we had to do lots of winter mountain driving, so we had an actual AWD pickup. Same giant can on the

Less a sarcastic comment about the NSX itself and more a sarcastic comment on the feelings expressed by the OP about “a lego of rolling laptops”

There’s also a difference between preferring something older over a new version based on experience and simply saying “it’s new so it’s awful!” as the OP seemed to be doing.
To the second point, first I don’t really see controlling your own vehicle being outlawed, at least not for a looooong time. Even if it was out on

I was on the fence, but then I see that Torch posted a story about another Beetle with a hand-built body kit on it that’s expected to go for $20 million, so comparably this one has to be considered a Nice Price.

“Kronk think burning dead dinosaurs good, electric bad...Kronk say heel-toe slow good, fast fun bad

I like it, but had to go with CP. Given the issues and how easy it is to get relatively clean late modeled Benzes and Beemers around here in SoCal, it’s easily priced about $500 too high. That might not seem like much, but at this price point it’s a pretty big chunk.
For comparison sake, my similar condition/mileage

I drive down that street in Burbank every once in a while. they may have fixed one, but there’s like 10 more (honestly none bad enough to ruin a pizza though. I think they made the commercial one worse before fixing it).

Here’s the thing, if you can afford $90k on a car, why not buy a new $90k car that’s going to be really nice, just as comfortable, and far more economical to drive?

I’ve agreed with all the redemption garages until today. Hummers were and are still the absolute pinnacle of everything embarrassingly wrong with the US. Somehow they managed to be even more ridiculous than the Canyonero.

As someone currently daily driving something with 240k miles, I don’t begrudge high mileage cars, but I do begrudge asking very high end price for one, even if it does come with a tent glued to the top that makes an Element even uglier.

Couldn’t click Nice Price fast enough. Honestly would be contacting the seller if this wasn’t on the wrong side of the country. Absolutely love this wagon and if anything being an auto is a plus because it’s not like you’re taking this thing to the track. Decent seat cover for the front and you’re all set.

So they are pricing these at a grand per wheel+tire? That seems excessive (but I guess there is a dealer markup)

When do we get your brothers’ write-up about the thrilling vacation they had driving cross-country at 40mph in a rented Hyundai?

Just fingers and patience usually.

Easy nice price. No matter what the detractors say, every (pre-VW) Porsche is going to be at least mildly collectible and is at the very least an eternally cool car. Decent example with a lot of work sorted for $16k? I expect it to be gone quite soon.

Nothing special to say about this one, reflective of the fact that this is just a nothing special sedan priced about $2k too high.

Crack pipe simply because what are you supposed to do with it? Not a weekender, can’t take it to the track. If you have the space/money to show it, then do you really want an imperfect lot car?
