Drivable, wrenchable, weekender with a t-top? Admittedly, if this wasn’t an old Z I might have given it a narrow CP, but it is an old Z and I’ve always really wanted one of those.

Really embarrassing to have your celebratory confetti cannon go off during a practice lap.
“it weighs as much as a thinking about a pie” - I have no idea what Torch is trying to say here, but someone should probably give him a pie.
I agree with the thought though, the xB is the closest you can get in the States to the ultimate small family car - the Kia Ray
Nice looking, but a 27 year old car that is never going to be a classic. Needs a bit of work and with a ton of aging bits and bobs, it will likely need more regularly. I do like the car and appreciate the effort to present it well, but still this thing has to be down in the true “cheap car” range for it to be a NP,…
I like them. Always assumed I’d wind up with one as a beater, came close a couple of times, but then found something mildly better/cheaper. I suppose therein lies the problem, there’s ALWAYS something mildly better/cheaper.
Ugh, do I nice price it as a clean example of something the market is apparently paying at or do I crack pipe on my personal belief that no 30-40 year old non-perfect Jeep is really worth that price?
Does it look lowered to anyone else or did they ride at that clearance from the factory?
Settled, I’m getting one next year...
Not the worst crack pipe to be featured here, but there’s just as clean of examples with far fewer miles for the same or similar price. Plus, my first thought when I saw the interior (before reading about the swap) was that it didn’t look right, so I’m not sure how well that switch was done.
To be fair, haven’t like 99% of drivers who have competed “never won the Indy 500"? Seems less a curse and more that a single race only has one winner, regardless of who your dad/grandfather/uncle was.
I think the Mitsubishi is pretty much on it as far as bang for buck goes, especially the thought of getting it in a non-rust state and driving it back. Naturally, Suburus and Toyotas are logical, but going to pay a premium for the “reliable” name without it necessarily being any more reliable.
Or to throw something…
Also not really getting the flood car guessers. If the clean title is correct, then you’re guessing that the dude (stickers definitely make me think dude) decided not to take an insurance pay out on the car for some reason?
Not really, because 3k-ish is is right at the “fun cheap car” butter zone. Narrow range that would probably put yours (as described) at like $4k for a nice price.
For all the “it’s been hooned” crowd, OF COURSE it’s been hooned and anyone (on this site at least) who buys it is going to hoon it too. With the clutch already done, it would seem to be a decent amount of hooning left for the price.
Edit: Didn’t notice the Texas plates initially, but even so, there’s still more than enough rhetorical questions left to be a pretty confident NP.
3k and change for an insanely fun to drive hot hatch that could still be comfortably driven daily? AZ car to boot, so there shouldn’t be any rust? Still a Ford Focus underneath, so it’ll be relatively cheap to maintain? Very easy NP today.
Yeah, so the scooter pick up guys are likely just opportunistic douchebags, if not flat out criminals...but that doesn’t stop me from kinda hoping they come up the 5 and open a franchise to grab scooters from the Santa Monica-Venice beach path, including grabbing scooters while in motion driven by jackasses on their…
Is it unique, fun, and even (dare I say) cool? Yes. However, while it’s not outrageously expensive, it’s not cheap either. Looks nice, but never going to be a collector piece. Can’t daily it and you can get a better weekend car at the same price that won’t be as hard to maintain. That puts this unlucky Fiat into an…
If you’re in the market for a 15 year old wagon, is a turbo and a stick really worth double the price? Not for me. I’m seeing just as clean, low mile Foresters in the $6k range, so this one is decidedly CP for me.
Would it be a money pit? Sure, but at least it’s a running money pit with a low admission price. Seems like it would clean up alright too, so you could drive it to Radwood and play the role of the teen movie jock who would have something similar.
