These don’t look appetizing to me.

Going off my very old memory, since I can’t remember even being in a car with crank windows in a really long time. Usually it was the arm either snapping or the part attaching the crank to the mechanism stripping out or loosening to where it wouldn’t stay on.

I’m pretty sure most people saw it first on Disney Afternoon’s syndicated block, since Disney Channel itself was a premium cable channel until around 1996 or so, when companies finally started putting them in the basic tier.

Bravo on the new purchase, the past few years of Honda’s are finally edging out the Siennas in overall quality and styling IMHO (I own a 07 and 11 Sienna.. jury is out on my next van). I feel for you and your wife- the added expense of the conversion is no small thing.

My favourite example is Jimmy Buffett’s politics versus Jimmy Buffett’s fans’ politics.

Nice to see Fillion’s still working.

If you’re new to the series and you want to gobble it all up start to finish, I’d say Stargate is much more consistent than Star Trek. Watching the original Trek run, you have to be very forgiving of a lot of its episodes in order to stomach them. (Ricardo Montalban in brownface as the “Indian” Khan comes to mind, and

How it is ever any faster? I don’t have to drive past the spot, stop and shift into reverse to park head first.

Only for perpendicular parking.  If the lot is angle parking; you will pull out and be going the wrong way down the aisle.

Randall Munroe kindly laid it out for us this morning:

Yep, we exist. I thought TFA was exactly what was needed to jump start the new age of Star Wars and I thought TLJ was exactly what was needed to progress it, add in new ideas, and make it more than a repetition of what came before.
