Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't WANT a larger phone. It's like holding a freakin' iPad to the side of your head. I still use my 4, which, yes, is small and slow. The 5 was great. Now you have up to a 5.5" screen? These are not comfortable sizes, folks.

More shilling and hype mongering by 'journalists' on behalf of mega corporations.

$30 for an LED connected to a USB port with a nifty software interface? I want to like this but $30 buys a lot of cheese! Come at me with this at $10 and maybe i will buy 3.

This is cool, but can't a smart phone do all this and more?

In their hallways, to which the bathroom is connected?

"Inside every smoke detector is a smoke chamber, and on one side, an LED light shines through the air that passes by, noticing when there are particles"

I feel like preventing these things from happening should fall under that "administrative" fee we're all subject to on the bottom of our cell phone bills. Wishful Thinking.

The assumption seems to be that this robot is a lot more efficient than Roomba, since it knows where it's been, and doesn't need as long time to clean a room.

Would it help if I wrapped my phone, and my head, in tin foil?

This thing with the integrated SD card is a god-send for professional photographers on the go.

"[...]it takes quite some time for pasteurized dairy products to go bad." Milk I buy is pasteurized, as is most milk I think. It only takes a couple of weeks for milk to go bad. I don't use butter fast enough for it to not go bad leaving it on the counter.

This invention, to me, is the most fascinating one on the list. I hope for a future where passive (or nearly passive) power generation can take the place of current power generation methods. However, I can't seem to find anything about how much the device is expected to cost or how much power it generates.

Come on you apes, you wanna live forever?!

I've used this for years, but I'm going to have to try this new google app. I wonder which is better? Love Photosynth!

Nope, they want Powered Armor Suits, or Japanese Mechs, (fairly small ones. Anything much mrer than 3 stories tall is too much of a target). Welcome to the world of Starship Troopers.

There's always a solar powered flashlight taped to the inside of my submarine's screen doors.

You should also check at Mountain Hardwears website, Campsaver, EMS, Moose Jaw, Backcountry gear and REI. Also something I learned last year, Columbia owns Mountain Hardwear and they now carry these jackets and other MH gear at their Columbia Outlet stores. The supply is usually extremely limited but I picked one up

I'm all for bringing back the greys, with one condition:

Do you always stand for fascism, or just on Tuesdays?
