Early prototype pre-view.

What sort of salary did you start at? Or did they start you low and promise a quick rise?

I think your statement about a “...nearly six-figure job in software development” is a little misleading. I’ve been a professional programmer for 30 years and have worked for an Ivy League college the past few years. I do pretty well here, but I’m only earning $85k at this point. I recognize colleges on the East Coast

Pay what you owe and not a penny more. Then be thankful for the services you get.

Another fix is to file your taxes early, which we did this year.

Funny you bring up that the Tea Party is trying to shut down the IRS, since I just watched the documentary about how the Scientologists slammed the IRS with so many lawsuits that the IRS finally caved. Is it a coincidence that the Tea Party is after them too?? Or a conspiracy!

They show photos of their nightlights and these USB covers being used in a kitchen, but their website says their nightlight isn’t compatible with GFCI outlets (because the GFCI don’t have the screws in the right place). That seems a little misleading to me.

I didn't realize they would require me to set up my own neighborhood (I live in a rural area), including soliciting my neighbors via email and postcards!

Because you couldn't use your night-vision thermal system to find it, right? ;-)

Not a problem for me. Just for you. ;-)

Really? Because I'm using it now and just dragged a folder structure from my PC into my Amazon Cloud Drive. It kept the folder structure exactly as I had it. Seems pretty easy to me.

No, it's a cloud backup service, not cloud storage for files you want instantaneous access.

Crashplan will let you send them an external drive to pre-populate your cloud backup, but they charge extra for that.

I use the free Crashplan model, where I provide my own backup hard drive off-site from home. My employer doesn't mind me attaching the external drive to my work computer and using the bandwidth. The automatic backup is great and I like that it's encrypted, so if someone at work swiped my hard drive they wouldn't see

Buy a PogoPlug and your own hard drives and provide your own cloud service. But it'll take you 3-4 years before this solution is cheaper than Amazon's new offering.

I see a troll has come out from under their bridge.

And why, in your country, do they put insane people in buckets, rather than baskets where they belong? ;-)

OMG if they could fix that problem with glue, could they fix it with caulk tubes? I'm sick of using 10% of a tube of caulk, but the mfg's don't provide something that seals completely. So the remaining 90% won't come out the tip, just the back end when you pump too hard!

troll much?
