I’m fine with subscription models in the same way that I’m fine with Spotify-- the difference with GamePass (and the likes) is that it’s not as agnostic as something like Apple Music or Spotify. Although I think this is Microsoft’s vision for GamePass. The video game industry is still entrenched within these few game

Gamers gotta be the #1 demographic for “People who think they know how something works but actually have no idea”.

I drive to work every day. I don’t pretend to think I know even 1% of how to make a car.

Was with you until you said it wasn’t nuanced. I feel like the story is incredibly precise and intricate— Ellie and Abby being portrayed as two sides of the same coin, both being on the same path but exact opposite sides. We see the future of Ellie through Abby. The stories come full circle but diverge as Ellie makes

Joel is in TLOU2 more than you’d think. There are quite a few flashbacks that will include him which are pivotal to the narrative. That being said I think Bella definitely proved her chops as she portrayed the attitude, vulnerability, and naivety of Ellie perfectly. It’ll be on her and Kaitlyn Dever (as Abby) to

Saying “AI is a useful technology” is about as obtuse as saying “cooking is a useful technology”.

Beef was great and so was Young. Excited to see Jesse portrayed on TV— he was sort of the “moral compass” of TLOU2 and gave the player a much-needed sense of comfort.

TLOU1 is a classic. TLOU2 re-defined what a video game narrative is capable of. Can’t recommend them enough.

Knee deep in the water on a Santa Barbara beach: “I’m not going to fight you.” I CANNOT WAITTTTTT.

I cannot freaking WAIT for season 2. Imagine if they end it right when Abby shows up at the theater. Maximum cliffhanger.

I’ll miss NFT’s for the only reason that I enjoyed the drama lol

Hell Let Loose is so damn good. I’m stoked for other’s to join!

Nearly all of them controversies or divisive. Not a single one about great games like Baldur’s Gate, Alan Wake, Starfield, etc...

I loved the long cut scenes tbh. Reminded me of a Lynch movie, where it just lets the audience soak it in. Low and slow. I don’t think he really heaps “more and more”, imo it felt more like he had something small and just let it take the spot light for a long long time. I mean shit the game is just about walking

Death Stranding was a pretty dope game. The last two hours... my jaw dropped. I literally cheered lmao i’m not even a huge Hideo fan. Idk how they’re gonna make this into a feature film when just the ending itself is as long as a movie.

The only thing mssing from Starfield is “the in-between” part of traveling. There is very little wandering in the game, which is one of the capstones of typical Bethesda games.

I work for the team that builds the testing framework for an app that is on your phone right now and many of my co-workers are ex-QA for the games industry. They all say its the pits. Contractors get the short end of the stick and the job stability sucks. Also have a few friends who work for Microsoft and contractors

TLOU2 is my all-time fav, and I do like the odd roguelike here and there... but tbh not too excited about this mode. I don’t really want to face waves of enemies. I spent most of TLOU2 avoiding them as best as I could lol. Plus the main draw of the game is the story of struggle— without that I don’t see myself caring

2025 whew lad. Figured it would be by next holiday season... it’s gonna be a long wait lol.

Sable is awesome, glad PS owners get to experience it. Mobius in motion. Commitment to minimalism.

People act like this game is the worst thing in the world lol. Its not great but its not awful at all. The player base is dwindling like all games. This is a hits business.
