If they want to make a Quidditch video game they’ll also have to fix the game of Quidditch on a fundamental level lol. Even reading Harry Potter as a 3rd grader I knew the game wasn’t quite right, the scoring is completely broken.

Should be noted that Blessing of the Erdtree is #1 Top *Acquired* Incantations. Which is not suprising since it is one of the few items that is basically laid out in front of the player-- it’s nearly impossible to miss. I don’t think many builds necessarily could cast it.

Skyrim is one of the best-selling games of all time for a reason. Oblivion re-defined what “open world” means. Fallout 3 was a spectacle. They’ve had some misses, but they’ve hit WAY more.

Bethesda has a track record of filling their games with intrigue and mystery. Just because the whole “generated, soul-less, open world” thing caught on since Skyrim, doesnt mean that Bethesda will go that route. They have a pretty solid record, im willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

There are already dozens of sub-systems in the game too. It feels like if Animal Crossing went to Hogwarts and then added a main quest. Lot’s of busywork questing.
