Those “Most Played Games” lists on the Microsoft store could very well be curated. Like the “Best Selling” lists. What does “played” even mean? Most downloads? Most concurrent players? Most total hours by playerbase? I don’t think it should ever be used as some sort of ranking metric.

Yes cuz there are only two ways to live: “penniless” or in  5million dollar house.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA5 are some of the most ambitious games of all time. I’d say only Destiny has a larger scope then either of them. These types of projects are huge and require massive effort... sadly I don’t think “crunch” will ever go away if they continue to increase their scope.

Bruh it’s 100% Civ 6. Literally melts the hours away.

These service-games becomes people’s lives. They want to have control over it because it impacts their life so much, even though they are just a consumer.

The game is simply mind-numbing to play. Like watching static on the TV.

Yeah I get what you’re saying... but still I think the “it’s just a game” vibe lives on. It never got to pay-to-win or pay-to-play. Never used adverts. Never sold your data. If this dude wants to cash out on it and walk away, thats a great decision. He probably could’ve monetized it and made magnitudes more, but that

It’s just about taking $1 and turning it into $2. Sony must see something in Bungie that they think they can help grow and expand upon. Video games are typically a hits business, so idk how any of this works.

TLOU2 is the all-time best. Seeing Abby on the beach at Santa Barbara still sticks with me today.

Sounds like someone who beat the battle pass in an ungodly amount of time...

People are like “You can just right-click and save it!” like college freshman haven’t had $15 prints of Van Gough’s hanging in their dorm for decades lol. We’ve always been able to copy art, doesn’t make the original less worthy. Now, does a *digital* original have any worth? That’s what these crypto bros are trying

My favorite gamer-ism: “How hard could it be?” lol

CTF on this map is the only thing that makes my old ass feel like I’m playing Halo again.

Insane. CTF is so much fun with friends... This was easily the best CTF map as it allowed for a solid back and forth.

QA gets exciting if you’re a part of automation. That is a huge challenge.

You’ll be hooking up your controller to your smart TV and launching games through an Xbox GamePass app pre-installed on the thing.

I feel like the Larry David gif.

Exclusives suck... but more big games on Gamepass is good... but then I’m locked into Gamepass... but then again it’s the best deal in gaming...

I think the big turnoff for all the sane people is the price of NFTs. It’s absolutely asinine to pay $30k for a GIF. But if you take away the steep price— let’s say this voice clip costs $1, does it have value to you now? Idk how I feel about NFTs, do we need “originals” and “ownership” over these originals in the

This makes so much sense. I love the campaign targets— they’re always super intricate and involved. But the fun there is maxing out the route you want, and you end up save-scumming if anything goes wrong (which will, a lot). The elusive targets get the blood pumping and really let you have fun in the chaos of it.

These people think that the games they play are some sort of human right... it’s weird. Happens big time in internet-nerd culture.

My favorite band makes an album I don’t like? Oh well, listen to their old stuff. The new season of Sex and the City sucks? Damn, that’s too bad.

BUT IF THE NEW MARVEL MOVIE IS BAD IT IS AN
