A bunch of Oppos are looking at hosting the archive off Kinja somewhere. We’ll have to wrangle the archive itself into a different format (WordPress or some other non-Kinja CMS), but we want it up.

We’re not profiting of anything posted on Oppo or Hyphen, so we have a stronger defense against property theft litigation.

This made me very sad to read, as a community we really appreciate the kind words though. We’d love nothing more than to stay here an active part of Jalopnik.

It is, but as a delivery system for a cannabis tincture/syrup, it’s brilliant. All of the drink in the books would most likely lend themselves well, especially if the syrup/FECO was strain specific, allowing matching of flavor notes. Still requires some serious effort. 

I’m with you on the caffeine (mah favourite drug), but as someone who thinks every mixed drink is ruined by the booze in it (folks, alcohol just tastes bad), tasty non-alcoholic drinks so you can hang with your boozy friends are quite welcome.

Don’t buy organic spices. They either use a less effective sterilization method or in some cases no sterilization. Spices are inherently dirty, they are grown in third world conditions and need sterilization. Buy standard processed spices, these are now mostly irradiated to reduce bacteria, some are still sterilized…
