There isn’t just a single goal of “most solar power in shortest amount of time”. That’s not how progress works. It happens across many fronts with many different goals.

I didn’t know that she was in Rouge One. I’ve avoided watching all trailers and am hopefully going to get to see it this week. Please avoid any more spoilers while it’s still in theaters.

While the GNX was pretty awesome, it doesn’t hold a candle to the Hammer posted above.

Have used this on bicycle tires in the snow a few times, it works pretty well. Wouldn’t give it any chance of working on car tires though. Seems like they’d be worn off way to quickly. They do last a long time on a bike.

I always like this one:

We have Krispy Kreme in Canada now too. I tried it a couple of times, but the donuts were just not good. Not that Tims donuts are the best, but they’re at least average quality and cheap.

No, a kid should buy their own car. It isn’t that hard to scrape together a couple thousand for a reliable older car.

Not surprising at all. I’d bet they’re just trying to scare other people off from doing the same thing. They’ll pay him out after enough time has gone by to deter others. Maybe send a few scary sounding letters to him.

The software company I currently work for has unlimited paid vacation (max 4 consecutive weeks) and certainly doesn’t keep track of hours (or sick days, etc). I feel that we have a pretty high standard of productivity. As a software engineer, some days I show up at noon, go for lunch, work 2 hours, play some ping

I’m all for a technical solution to this issue as I don’t believe that enforcement works (though education helps a lot). That being said, I have yet to hear of any reasonable solution.

Weird, I live in a city of 2+ million and other than car and bike theft, there is very little property crime. I’ve never heard of someone getting a package stolen. I’m in Canada though, so maybe it’s different? Virtually no gun crime is nice too.

It could actually be more precise if the track was made to be 402m instead of a true quarter mile. Similar to how people might say 0-60mph to Americans even if it was actually measured as 0-100km/h. No idea how long drag strips normally are in Sweden.

In my everyday driving I usually shift in the 4500-5000 RPM range

Stats like these are always BS. It’s extremely unlike that even as few as 5% would pay if torrenting wasn’t available.

My work is the same with most people driving $60k+ vehicles. Hell, one of the co-op/interns at my work, making a bit less than $20/hr, just bought a new x3. Meanwhile, the most expensive car I’ve purchased was under 5% of my salary (current one was less than 1%, yes it’s a beater).

Why would you cheat at high school track? Nobody cares what place you come in. The runners themselves barely even care.

So close, just waiting for a good torrent to be available.

I really don’t think trucks look good or bad for the most part. Some classic trucks look kind of cool I guess.
