It looks like a pre-R8 Audi concept car from the early 2000s.

Personally, I think this car is a piece of junk. However, it’s probably a decent price for the market. People like older VWs for some unfathomable reason.

Haven’t played this game, but it looks pretty silly/fun.

I was unaware of that. In Canada, every car I’ve bought (all over 10 years old) has had a pretty thorough mileage history. It’s recorded when a car gets insured every year at the very least.

Anyone interested just needs to get the car’s history and the mileage should be easy to verify. Unless it’s been uninsured for most of that time.

I’ve seen 3 different people that street park their motorcycles-with-side-cars in Vancouver. One of them I see often on Pacific blvd near Rogers Arena. So they are out there, but pretty uncommon.

I’m not from the US, but how much of the road issues are due to having disparate laws at the state/local level and how much are due to overall poor funding? Presumably a lot of both I guess.

I like it, but $9k is a bit much. He should ask $6k and take $5k. If it was very low mileage and in excellent condition I could see it at the current price.

Considering the mileage, that doesn’t seem too egregious.

Is that a type-o? I’d say NP at $4000 or less. Of course I have absolutely no knowledge of the Saab market.

So they’re basically making Top Gear US?

What a joke. Even while trying to obey the limit, it is pretty impossible not to drift a few mph under/over the limit (with things like turns and hills). Add in variance due to aftermarket/worn tires and aftermarket wheels. Also add in the error margin on the speed cameras. Given this, it’s hard to see ticketing at

Is that “20 miles” commute distance statistic one way or two? Because 20 miles one way is pretty damn far to commute to work, 10 each way seems about right for most people. I feel like I live far away at ~6.5 miles.

I’m a little on the fence about this. Not because it is actually worth $3000, but because it is for sale in the Bay Area. Given the insane over-valuation of everything there, this could actually be worth that much.

A project car sold by a dealer with no information listed? CP.

While the US certainly isn’t efficient with it’s military spending, Russia saves a lot of money by carpet bombing instead of using modern weapons.

The automatic is a questionable choice, but other than that, NP. I’ve wanted this gen of Supra for a while, but their engines are so unreliable that it’s just not worth it. An SBC with a stick would be perfect.

I can understand why employers want to do that, I just don’t believe that they should be allowed to. To me, personal freedom should win in this case.

I just don’t understand this. As long as you aren’t high while working, why does it matter if you smoked weed on Friday night? I live in Canada and the only person I’ve ever heard of go through drug testing here was a delivery driver, and that was after he was in an accident. It should be illegal to test unless there

- old VW, partially wired speakers, questionable diesel swap, no AC, rust, unsure of engine mileage... CP above $1500.
