Only 25% lower price than the Audi? That isn’t much of a discount for buying a Chinese knock-off. The badge alone is worth that much and I’m just going to go out on a limb and say that the quality will be a little worse.

Well first we’ll need to invent unobtainium.

I’ve been cycling daily for over a decade now and I don’t like the kid trailers either. They’re just dangerous, at least in the really curvy hilly roads where I live. If you’re on a flat, straight, wide bike path then they’re ok.

I’m still holding hope that this isn’t true. Maybe it’s just a concept that everyone will laugh at. Then Nissan will come to their senses and make a smaller / lighter Z with a turbo 4 a bit upmarket from the Toyobarus.

Your comment has to be hyperbole. I can’t imagine a world where someone that knows what the 959 is would take an x6m over it. I’m probably feeding the trolls here, but damn it, you got me.

In addition to many of the items listed above, I always keep an emergency kit (flares, thermal blanket, shovel, water, tow rope, etc) in all of my cars, but in my beater I also throw in a socket set, a manual for the car, odb2 scanner, rain jacket, and a jerry can.

If you want to get a Maxima, buy a 4th or 5th gen one. Those are the best of the lot.

I looks like the into for a video game. New Command and Conquer? It’s actually refreshing to have someone other than the US (or obvious fictional equivalent) as the main military in a video.

To me they need to weigh the cost of a potential breakdown against the cost of replacing the car. I’m sure that there is a line somewhere, but it’s probably more than 100k miles.

Wow, that is cheap. I always thought that Japan was expensive. I think the cheapest hotel that I’ve stayed in was around ~$90/night and it was a bit of a dump.

It helps that Sharapova is hot and Williams is average at best. Definitely says something that people generally care more about a female athlete’s looks than how talented she is.

My company doesn’t publicly share salaries (which would be awesome), but at least they do bring in a consultant ever year or so and get them to do salary reviews on all the tech employees to make sure they are getting paid adequately according to their experience. This is specifically to avoid losing longer term

I wouldn’t buy this as I really don’t like Neons and no AC is a deal breaker for me. However, it’s still probably a NP. I’d say it’s actually a fair price.

Despite really not liking this car, it is definitely a NP, especially for $3k without the wheels.

That’s actually a really good point. If this only tracks used sales from a dealer then the number is way off.

I totally agree. I’m another developer without a university degree. I work for a well respected company and we hire all levels of programmers. You don’t want all highly skilled senior devs, you need a mix of Jr and Intermediate level devs as well. Even our co-op students can contribute a lot and they know a lot less

But does talking on the phone differ from talking to a passenger? If not, then either we have to put the driver in an isolated compartment or we should just allow people to talk on their phones.

Once again the mods don’t add value to the car. CP.

I learned cursive for many years in school and it was mandatory for assignments up to grade 7 or so. As an adult I still take notes by hand (one of the few at the tech company I work at) but I NEVER use cursive. It is slower, harder to read, and, being left handed, messier. Cursive for lefties is really annoying due
