‘stupid petty’ - i think that sums up the texas legislature pretty aptly. Same group is trying to force banks and investors and other companies to do business with oil companies as well.
GM is cutting its nose. I have seen what happens to automakers infotainment systems 3 years after the sale. They stop getting updated. I don’t want to sink a massive chunk of money on betting GM (not a software company) will keep their already slow and jankie software running on the out of date hardware.
It really is a shame because the Ioniq 5 is an awesome car. The IRA 2023 tax credit fine print about being manufactured in the US, both battery and final assembly, took effect way too soon. There should’ve been a longer grace period for that for sure.
Must be a regional thing. At my local Ohio Hyundai dealer, the lot is loaded with Elantras, Konas, and Sonatas and there’s one Ioniq5 in the showroom.
Yet not nearly as much of a failing falling fireball as Twitter.... so success?
I have the same, and noticed basically the exact same differences. So was this software update only sent to AWD/dual motor models? I mostly drive in Eco mode and i have actually felt a little less giddy-up when accelerating from a dead stop, but that may be just me getting used to the better acceleration in the few…
100% Fiesta ST. Throw in the Focus ST as well, because, you know....
Security updates on Pixels are up to 5 years for the 6/6a. Samsung upped it to 4 years on devices from 2019 on and 5 years for the S21/S22 lines.
This is No. 5 Million on why Texas sucks besides their god awful hot weather and cruel and mean spirited government.
The only way to stop a bad person with a Jeep, is a good person with a Jeep.
Fuck Texas. Fuck cops. Fuck that Jeep guy. Charges should be more serious than a misdemeanor. He could have killed the cyclist. No, you don’t fucking joke around like that.
Everything is bigger in TX, including stupidity. So dumb. That should be a felony.
I feel bad for the cyclist, and he fears for his saftey, but goddammit! He needs to press charges. The DA also needs to charge this asshole with attempted murder and send his ass to prison. Otherwise, as it stands, he gets a slap on the wrist and then what? Next time he actually plows into a cyclist and kills him\her?…
Whatever transpired before, the swerving into oncoming traffic to hit/scare the guy in the bike crossed a very big line. Reckless driving should be one of a host of charges. Also, this guy is obviously a great candidate to have his guns taken away.
This is why I absolutely refuse to ride on the street at all any more and ride exclusively on bike paths. I firmly believe that a good 15-20% of the population has gone completely unhinged insane.
And they’ll say nothing can be done about cyclist and pedestrian deaths.
What, no Parenthood references?
Ah, Exhibit A as to why “Always Online” is a really shitty thing for everyone but the publisher.
