We’ve been doing the same, as we have a 5th and 1st grader. A lot can change between now and then, but as it stands right now, it’s cheaper, significantly so, for our kids to go to college someplace in Europe than it is to attend college here in the states.
My oldest daughter got an inflatable penguin toy when she was around 1, she’s 10 now. Said toy has been in sitting on a shelf in a storage room for the past 2 years. A couple weeks ago, in the middle of the night, said toy started playing it’s music on it’s on. And the batteries are mostly dead, so it was that too…

My parent’s had a convertible from the late 80s that would lift the top ever so slightly above 80mph, so if you were driving on the highway in the rain, water flowing along the surface of the car would run inside and then drip over everything and everyone.

I wouldn’t discount it. Because sous vide cooks at an exact temperature, it’s virtually impossible to overcook something, no matter how long it’s in the water bath. That’s part of the reason why restaurants love it. They throw a bunch of food in at the beginning of the day and it cooks to the exact right temperature.…
