If you absolutely must have that newer car, but can’t afford it without a decade long lease, you really should re-evaluate your needs. Once you’ve done that, if you still have to have that car, look into a lease. It gets your payments down, because you only borrow the depreciation value of the car, so roughly 1/2.…

Your video illustrates why I hate CVTs so much; mainly because CVTs do what they are supposed to, which is keep the engine as close to it’s optimum RPM, be it for performance or fuel efficiency. And in doing so, it turns a potentially glorious engine note into a monotonous drone.
