According the the google arts app, we look alike. I got the same recommendation, which I don’t agree with. My beard is not nearly that white.

I loath air mattresses. They incredibly uncomfortable. Regardless of too little or too much air, it feels like trying to sleep on a bounce house, even if you are sleeping on one by yourself. That and they are super damn cold. They let so much cold up through the mattress that even in the middle of the summer you will…
Download and install plex server. It will walk you through creating an account and setting up libraries. Libraries are really easy to setup. You basically select the type (photos/music/movies/tv) and then point that library to the folder(s) where all of those types of files are stored.
That’s because they have sales scripts and strategies designed to make them the most money, and while not universally true, many can’t deviate from the script and functionally do their job. It’s their crutch.
First option that comes to mind is the way Carvana does it. They drop the car off at your house and they give you 7 days to test it. I haven’t actually done this, but my guess is, they don’t initiate the registration paperwork until after 7 days, that way it’s never actually registered to you.
If you are only doing DVDs (as opposed to Blu-ray), it’s really easy. Download handbrake, install it, put the dvd in the drive, and rip it straight off the disc. Compression times will probably be close to real time, unless you have a really old computer...so 2 hour movie will most likely take 1.5-2.5hours. There are…
That’s not exactly ripping cds/dvds that you own, is it?
Currently, ripping movies for the purpose of personal back up isn’t allowed, but ripping movies for the purpose of education, critique, or analysis is, as is ripping movies for the purpose of remix videos. By removing the previews, nag screens, and menus, you are essentially remixing the dvd...or something. Yeah. That…
Oh, sorry, left that bit out. No, the computer isn’t connected to the TV. For watching the movies, that’s done on the XB1 app or XB360 app, depending on room.
I had to wait until Predator was on HBO before I saw it.
I have two, I know all too well ;)
Oh, I know. I have two kids. Which reminds me, I have an outlet that needs to be replaced because there are now LEGO gems shoved inside them. Magically, of course. Neither kid has any knowledge of how this happened.
Files are stored on my NAS, then plex server is on an always on computer, then the libraries are setup mapped to the network drives on the NAS. Some NAS servers have the ability to run plex directly on them, but I don’t have one of those, so I need a computer that’s on to run the plex server.
If you weren’t sharing, how would they know?
It’s a greyish area. I don’t share/host the files anywhere, except my local network, and I own (and still have) all the discs for everything.
Exactly! Oreos are strictly a whole grain mustard food.
Mike, I find this comment from just about a year ago particularly amusing given the subject of this article :D
