I’d argue that most people haven’t gotten over it, just figured out a passable work around (using a stupid dongle), but then you can’t charge the phone at the same time unless you buy a different dongle, that you can then plug the headphone dongle into it. It is a very stupid and cludgy system.

Don’t know what your car is, but I’m 99.99999% sure it’s a mechanical needle that is controlled by a digital signal from the ECU, as opposed to older cars had a cable that ran to the transmission, which would be a completely mechanical setup, which I don’t think any new cars use.

Suspension might be different too, since diesel engines usually weigh a good bit more than the equivalent gas powered one.
