I prefer Cross to Trigger by quite a bit, but I am definitely biased.

Dream of the Shore Bordering Another World. That song will always hit me very hard, due to the context behind it. You’re not home anymore, that’s for sure.

This is absolutely absurd and I’m... Okay with it? Not sure why a jojojiejo is there, but that’s okay. The giant nugget monstrosity is also odd.

Darts! Potential Tifa helping Aerith get Cloud in a dress! Squats!

Heavy Gear mechs could SKATE!

Yikes, they both suck! You should never, ever, ever get wings from a chain. What the hell are you thinking?

As a non-American, I never really thought about it. But now that I do, I can’t expect it NOT to have been turned into a tourist trap, and it’s absolutely depressing.

THC and CBD are fat soluble, so I’d guess that whatever stuff wasn’t perfectly absorbed into the oil/butter that was used in the edible is released during digestion and absorbed into the other food.

I wonder just how automated the gameplay itself will be. An example to look at for this kind of thing would be Nier: Automata’s easy mode, where you were given a plethora of optional chips that would automate different parts of combat. With all of them equipped, all you had to do was move into groups of enemies and

In Japanese. Man where are all these people coming from not reading the rest of the comments?

What a way to ruin my weekend. Hope they get hit by the FBI like the last ones that did this.

Sorry, man. You’ll have to look at the other comments on this post to get all the context. I’m not going to copy it all for you. It is a cross in Japanese, X in western localization. This is because ‘cross’ has the same meaning as ‘x’ in Japanese, and does not have the connotation of the vertical cross.

Maybe not the grossest place, but certainly the grossest and most negligent sex-related thing to admit.

Alright, Zack. I think it’s time you did the Big One when it comes to weird pokemon. It’s time for the pokemon that’s literally a Bonus Corpse.

There’s an old interview with the designer of the controller, but it’s no longer on 1up’s site that I can see. Related excerpt:

I was trying to remember what it was! I thought it was to symbolize a person, but same idea. In pretty much every RPG, it will bring up your stats.

The switch was made mostly as localization for the west. A lot of early PSX games released here still use X for cancel and O for select - the most famous example being Final Fantasy 7. In Japan, most games retained this, while many that were localized had the switch.

Now, I’ve been thinking. When you “cross out” a word that’s been written down, what shape do you make...? Some would use a single line, others would use an X. I have never seen someone cross out a word with an actual cross.
