I had adjusted for inflation. At the time, the actual budget was $18 million (Star Wars was $11 mil). And it's not like they didn't spend big money on movies back then - Superman II cost close to $130 mil (again, adjusted).

Raiders cost $45 million to make, Star Wars $41 million.
