It is a show about a kung fu master and the actor playing him can’t do kung fu nor can the director or editors SHOOT kung fu.

Something tells me WB TV is finally saying go fuck yourselfs to WB movies. For the longest time the reason Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman, etc etc couldn’t be on TV, and the reason Smallville never actually showed Superman as well Superman was thanks to the movie division.

There’s kind of a risk in this: if the actor fits too well, or looks too good, or sympathetic, it will bring even more ill-will towards the already frowned upon Cavill’s Superman portrayal.

It will also honk at any bumper stickers that say “Honk if you want to kill all humans”
