great article! Good dose of information and very entertaining to read! Nice work

Good riddance. Maybe people simply realized what an annoying-to-all-your-friends, time-waster it is.

Please don't be an FPS, Please don't be an FPS, Please don't be an FPS, Please don't be an FPS, Please don't be an FPS, Please don't be an FPS, Please don't be an FPS....

GT5 has completely fallen off my radar. The game is so overhyped and obsessively overthought that I think there's no way it can be good. I'll play Forza. A game that, you know, actually shipped.

Stop calling it "magical"! God that annoys me.

Dude I can't wait for this one. Been watching it for a long time now. Bring on the 3D pixelated adventures!

SNAP! I've been obsessing over this game for a year now, and I look forward to this!!

Nice writeup. I'm reaaaaaally looking forward to this one!!

hahahah! Awesome. I knew I'd be getting this game about 6 months ago, but this ad just sealed the deal.

It's . . . a microcosm of Japan. I'm not surprised.

Oh dude. Two awesome choices. Mister Freeze was an excellent villian in the animated series, and I also enjoyed Ras al Ghul and his hot daughter. Yessss!

Eh. I really think all this chest puffing is irrelevant.

@acceptablerisk: yes. totally. they should really just make it a smaller budget title and cater to the people who know the name. if xcom is not that well known in the mainstream, why trot out the ip for it??

@Mancubus: word. I identify with a lot of what you said.

As others have said, it's just a bummer to see YET ANOTHER FPS. I mean, I love, love, love me some FP action games, but really? How much longer until people are so tired of this being crammed down their throats that they stop buying? I like seeing other types of games, other genres, other categories. Or even if…

NYC is great, but yeah... it is definitely overplayed. There are other big cities out there, developers! How about giving Chicago some love??

Now that is dope. I used to absolutely love Syndicate. I just hope that if they revive the franchise, it's a worthy effort. That "Syndicate Wars" game that wasa sequel some time ago just didn't have the same snap and pizzaz to it.

That last sentence, yes.

heh. I enjoyed the commentary in here, and the snarky ending comment. Agreed.

This just keeps getting better and better. I was already a rabid fanboy several months ago. Now my enthusiasm has reached proportions as wide as the southwestern sky. With extra emphasis—MUST. PLAY. RED. DEAD.... AHHH!!!
