This “fight” was a total letdown and hardly what I spent my summer waiting for. Can they please stop diminishing Donald’s fighting prowess to jumping on people and pulling their faces?! He fights by punches and headbutts! This better not be the "finest moment" Frank was talking about because this episode did NOT

I just care about more Bada$$ Donald. That's all.

As a huge Donald Duck fan, I prefer Ducktales over Darkwing Duck. I like Darkwing, but I hope they don’t use anymore Ducktales episodes to focus on it. Ducktales is about Donald’s family and their adventures...and yet after he’s been captured on the moon...four episodes later and we still don’t even a clue or hint as

This was a cool episode and all and it was a creative and unique way to reintroduce the Darkwing characters and leave open the possibility of having a Darkwing Duck series, but one MAJOR thing bothers me: what on earth is happening to DONALD?!

I loved the Powerline reference, but hated that yet again Donald was absent from it and unlike when Della was trapped on the moon, we haven’t gotten a hint as to what happened to Donald after he’s been captured. I can only hope that it’s going to be the next story arc and we get to see Donald finally kick some major

I agree that Donald is still being shamefully underutilized unless they are about to dedicate an entire story arc to him which they should since the did it for Della. But now that Donald is stuck on the moon we’ve gone three episodes without knowing what’s happened to him after he’s been captured which is unfair

I’m worried too, but more about how he will be portrayed. Donald is every bit a fighter as well (if not more so), but sadly we haven’t seen that side of him as much as we should (and the last two episodes have been particularly bad in terms of portraying him with just comic relief/slapstick which is getting really

If anything, DELLA was terrible at picking names! Her choices weren't even real names for people but for cars or something. Donald gave them the names they were always known by which I really appreciated and glad that they didn't take that away from him.

Disagree! I think that Ducktales has been veering off Donald TOO much. It’s HIS family and yet too many episodes in the past have been dedicated to ever expanding characters not nearly as connected to the overall plot and not spending enough time on Donald as more than comic relief.

Honestly, I blame the writers. This is exactly what I feared. Della comes across as heroic and brave while Donald is lazy, neurotic, or almost cowardly.

I do think that they’re similar: they’re both determined, protective, and badass. The problem is how the staff are PORTRAYING their protectiveness. Penumbra’s comes across as badass while Donald’s comes across as neurotic.

Honestly, I DO think that Donald and Penumbra are alike: protective, fearless, badass, warlike, etc.

Agreed! This episode was a bit weird because 1) the episode before this had Donald almost as an afterthought of his own family since they forgot to tell him the plan and didn't even refer to him as "uncle" there and 2) they try to draw a parallel between Donald and Penumbra but the way each of their protectiveness is

Yeah, but I would’ve preferred seeing Donald’s hand-to-hand badassery and yet we didn’t see him fight off the other threats.
