I don’t think the real Daredevil wears a plastic smock with a picture of himself on it.

A complete show with one of the best finales - and final seasons - and final scenes - of all time. I’m jealous of the OP for being able to watch it for the first time.
Anne Heche had a really horrible childhood: her father sexually abused then died of AIDS, her brother died in a car accident, and her mother is a bat-shit crazy ‘Christian therapist’ affiliated with Focus on the Family.
I wish I could take credit for it, but I saw someone on reddit say that and it was too good to not steal ;)
Still not as stupid as calling a moving Se7en.
With all due respect* I think these arguments are unrealistic, unhelpful, and on top of that actually beneficial to Trump. Biden said as much last night: Republicans want people to think the system is rigged so that their votes don’t count, and they specifically want Democrats to think there’s nothing that can be done…
The only question we need to ask is how much cheating and shenanigans the GOP is going to engage in, in order to try to steal the election. We should have all learned by now not to trust that polls mean we’re safe. Every ounce of our effort should be spent on making sure the election is run according to the rules, in…
What, no love for Last Night? i.e. “What if Armageddon was a Canadian film?”
Armageddon is gloriously stupid. I don’t generally love stupid movies, but when a movie has Will Patton look up at the extinction-level asteroid and say it’s angry because it knows they’re there to kill it...you just have to tip your cap that someone made something this transcendently stupid.
Are you saying you won’t be signing up for the newsletter?
Oh look, another book by one of Trump’s cronies who was outraged by his behaviour but obviously not enough so to actually do something about it while they still had their job.
unpopular opinion: I also loved him in Death to Smoochy
I honestly think it’s that Danny DeVito has a very strange, distinct comic sensibility. Death to Smoochy is dark, but it’s also extremely silly. It can be hard to get on the right wavelength to accept those clashing tones. When you do, though, it’s hilarious.
A great book on the Four Chaplains: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FC1MDM/
I like Death to Smoochy, never fully understood the hate that one gets.
Don’t forget his memorable turn as a young kid who absolutely had to have his pops.
...remembered as the decade of snark, a period where being smart and funny also meant being witheringly condescending towards everyone and everything that wasn’t in on the joke.
The Translation is: "Nein, das ist was sie wollen. Aber wie können sie alle tot sein? HAHAHAHA. Ich werde mich an ihn ranschleichen und ihm die Kehle aufschlitzen."
I seriously thought Jesse was going off camera to get a gun and shoot them both.
Still not as good as Homer Simpson driving Burns around playing the bongos on his head though.
