Gulf was used on Ford, Porsche, and Aston Martin as far as I know.

Literally the whole reason this article is here is so others can answer the questions he has.
When I was a kid, my dad told me stories of all the cool cars he had, ‘63 Impala with the tuck and roll interior, ‘71 Buick Riviera that would cruise at 80mph all day long, grandma’s ‘65 Mustang that she hated, the ‘51 Ford with the flathead V8 he bought for $25 in the late 60s, the stepside Chevy that broke valve…
The steering thing is interesting. Ford has the same setup on the Focus ST. They also have the same double ball joint setup on the Mustang from 2015+
Wasn’t BMW still using single stage back then?
California Melee is awesome! Did it with a buddy in his 70 Mustang, Shout out to Jeff and Harley!
If only. California’s emissions requirements are draconian for old cars. Smog exemption stops at 1975.
Is that a Chevy bed on that truck, the taillights don’t look right
RealOEM is my favorite place on the internet.
On the repair subject, wasn’t the original 8-Series front suspension similar? Once the bushings wear out, this thing will shimmy like crazy.
Because FCA is selling so many Chargers. The boring Fusion outsold the Charger 2:1 for the last four years. Source (Charger), (Fusion). The Explorer is not supposed to be exciting (save for the Sport). The Raptor is not the reason why the F-Series outsells Rams, that was happening well before the Raptor debuted in…
I think Hackett and Ford could have worded the discontinuation of sedans better. They said “we’re going to stop selling cars, save for the Mustang and Focus Active”. All the media outlets used this to create the clickbaity headline effect of “Ford will no longer make cars”. Just google Ford to stop selling cars, and…
Your first line (minus the I6) is why I can’t bring myself to sell my 318i sedan. The body work is shit at this point, but mechanically it’s still solid, and I’ve replaced a ton of parts. I always think I should sell it, then I go for a drive. Then, every time I park it, I turn, and think “that’s a good looking car”.…
If I ever win the lottery, I’m going to buy as many low mileage cars like this and drive them all the time just to spite the snobby collectors.
Service is where the money is. Besides, Leasing is becoming increasingly common.
It’s a business decision. Keep in mind that the market has changed, and small and midsize SUVs are selling well nationwide. Unlike Isuzu and Hummer, Ford and other brand SUVs are now rivaling midsize sedans in fuel economy. If they don’t sell well, and you’re losing money making them, why continue to make them.
Looks more like an Edge Sport to me:
I had an ‘86 SI, it was a fun car, speed isn’t everything. It was a happy car, and got 35mpg even with the SI motor!
BMW has a method, and it works well. Have you not used realoem.com? All part supercessions are listed when you search a part number. The BMW parts counter should have the same information, so if you give them a part number, they should be able to see the superseded part number you gave them and the new part number.
This is why I love Jalopnik. Now PG is going to buy a GT3
