Oh my God, THANK YOU.

Reality shows, as we know them, pretty much started in the UK and were brought over to the U.S. as well as being exported around the world.

It's the symbolism, just like the linked article mentions.

So, in summation, all of us are lying liars who lie, all the damn time.

"You stink and I don't want your cooties."

I agree.

I'm happy you and your spouse can do this.

Since the 60s, and most particularly, the 70s, it's been standard to fear the future.

The thing is that like so much of our new technological abilities, this one adds nothing to our lives but the ability to do something that most of us don't need, want, or particularly desire.

It as simple as the fact that dystopian fantasies sell more tickets than Utopian fantasies.

Oh, I know what you're talking about with Yelle.

Oh, no, I get that and agree.

Wow. That was very cool.

And here's why I don't bother: Since at least the late 90s, any show worth seeing is recorded and released by the band or singer. Since the mid 2000s, any show worth seeing has definitely been recorded by fans and uploaded to YouTube.

You can eat at these places occasionally, but with thought.

Um, since the only ones who've noted this are Village Voice blogs and this site, it hardly seems like some giant outcry is happening that deserves this post in defense of the "crush"site.

Not everybody on the board is poorly dressed or wears tee shirts all the time.

You really believe that, don't you?

He didn't cause his cancer.
