The original article claimed it was a manual. Is that incorrect?

No one forced him to do anything. He could’ve imported something if that’s what he wanted, but he chose to do this. Presumably he knows what he’s doing, as do the Aussie security people. If the car was considered a secure area (not necessarily the case) it would’ve been stripped down to the chassis as soon as it was

It’s certainly cheaper to just build one thing. I’m sure manufacturers would be much happier if they could get away with just one model that everyone buys. But they don’t, and that’s why there are different trims and models: if you can make enough more sales with an extra model, it pays for itself. This wouldn’t even

Maybe he’s Welsh?

I have a friend whose texting punctuation is bizarre. It’s because she’s Spanish and doesn’t change the language setting, so her poor phone keeps trying to guess these words which don’t make sense.

All of that would be cool, but it would involve getting cars which aren’t just dragsters. Or not, and there’d be a lot of spinning out, which might be fun in itself.

Yep. They have a bunch of fast cars they use to chase U-2s on the runway.

Did they ever let you in, or are you still trapped outside your own event?

Toyota did the fuel injection (their very first with the D4-S system) and subaru did everything else with the engine. Toyota probably doesnt want to share too much of that proprietary info with Subaru like they would have to do to boost it.

I was thinking he could get one from the company Greblos mentioned (Left Hand Utes) but I think diplomats can drive whatever they want so 25 year rule may not apply anyway. Whether he wants to drive something RHD is a better question.

An Instant Pot is, among other things, a pressure cooker. I don’t have one, but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen cake recipes for them, so there must be some way to make spongy things work.

So it’s a rebadged Opel Insignia/Buick Regal?

I can’t be the only one who thinks it would be even better if he had this version instead.

It definitely was. I think I’ve seen more with the Holden badges than the Chevy ones.

Ford North America’s profit margin was eight percent last year, or 2.7 percent less than what GM’s was.

Someone posted a bunch of comparisons between sedans and their midsize crossover counterparts yesterday. They were 14% worse on average. Average price for a gallon of regular in the US is $2.78 as of 4/25/18, so that’s the equivalent of a 39¢ increase.

I taught an ex-GF to drive stick. More than one, actually, but the one I’m thinking of was 23 and didn’t have a license at all because she’d never managed to stop overthinking everything.

The 86/BRZ is like the S2K in other ways too. For one thing, you won’t appreciate either one if all you care about is stock straight line performance, but you’ll fall in love if you like corners.

Finally! A justification for a yard full of junkers!

What five wheel cars are you looking at? ;)
