I'm in SoCal and noticed all these things too. The only way I see it working is if drivers had to get a special license focusing on high speed handling and emergency stopping, cars needing more stringent and frequent vehicle inspections, a special fee to maintain said roadway, specific Autobahn-type laws (no running

If the new consoles can run these graphics at 1920x1080, 60 fps all day, then they will truly be next-gen powerhouses. If they let you use a real mouse and a keyboard with pressure sensitive WASD keys, what will people complain about then? Politics? The price of their girlfriends' Louboutins as peace offerings?

Thank you. Normally, I don't correct grammar, but...another words? Seriously? What's next, "For all intensive purposes?" or "Doing something worth wild?" Yes, I've seen these.

So graphics DO matter!

I agree. It's like their team got together and said, "Let's build the hardware to be just good enough and then celebrate with bread and water! Now let's all drive home in our 100hp cars!"

Oh wow, I didn't know how old this thread was! It was on one of the side bar related articles. Damn the world. I just wanted to bring up a point that some people on here think that if a car doesn't do 0-60 in 5 seconds it's slow, all while they are probably driving cars in real life that do it in 7-8 seconds and

Austria is a beautiful country, but there is one town that needs more attention. Imagine the clever headlines that clever people will come up with.

Hahahaha! I hope Kenya is exactly like that if I go there, or I will be pissed. Norway: Zing!

Thank you for this article and a lot of the advice can apply to all aspects of life. I tend to have thin skin and I let stuff bother me more than it should, probably because I keep replaying things in my head and reading more into situations than are really there. In college, I once got a 94/100 on a paper but was

So true. I remember reading this 2009 Motor Trend comparison and my jaw dropped at the times these cars were putting out. These were supercar numbers maybe 15 years ago. Even then, only one car got sub 5 sec 0-60 and they cost a bit more.

This controller is so sexy, that I want to have sex with it.

SPOILER ALERT: Segata Sanshiro will appear and punish all the Expendables for not playing Sega Saturn back in the 90s.

Yeah, I agree that if the sun did fizzle out (highly highly improbable), there wouldn't be much we and our tiny earth could do about it. The funniest thing is, I saw Sunshine, then I started watching the Science Channel much later and discovered Brian Cox's awesome programs, then thought to myself that he was like

Is it? I figure they know more than me so I never even questioned it LOL

Agreed. They were going along so well by sticking to actual, believable, beautiful science that that alone would been an absolutely satisfying experience. I really felt their despair when things started going south. When psycho inside out guy came out, I was like, WTF.

I was about to post this clip (I did anyway in HD) as this Venus clip totally reminded me of Sunshine. It was the most breathtaking scene of the movie for me as it brought home the fact that they were VERY far from home and heading towards the sun.

Ok, so no problems near the edge of the screen? The 100% bug is annoying as hell with my Cintiq 12 and neither Wacom nor Adobes patches fixed it for me. Wacom says it's specific to Photoshop. You can be drawing delicate line after line and all of a sudden it starts to act like you're drawing with 100% pressure.

I'm planning to get one as my primary monitor. How is the pen performance near the edge of the screen? Does it get all shaky or it is it solid everywhere? Does it get warm in spots? Does it still have the "100% pressure bug" in PS CS5 or CS6?

All these Tetris videos you guys are posting are the greatest! I'm posting one that's not so funny, but more awe inspiring.
