Ah, I wish I’d had this article right at a year ago. My sister and I inherited our parent’s place (I ended up buying her out), and to get the place rent-ready, my wife and I had to remove the wallpaper. Most came off relatively easily, but some of it was so stubborn we asked the painters if they could just paint over

I’m really surprised this article left out Nimbus (https://nimbusweb.me/). I switched to Nimbus per the many reasons you’ve cited about Evernote (I even had a Premium license for a couple of years). What Evernote charges for the Premium was too much for me to justify.

One tip for Touch ID that I found very useful is including it as a SUDO authentication. Granted, this may be a tip for coders and power users only, but *as* a programmer, I’ve found it to be very helpful. I’ve even created a Gist for it to help others implement it:

Thanks for this very helpful article. My wife (B.S.N, M.S.N Ed) is a few weeks away from her SANE certification. The lack of certified SANEs in the U.S. is astounding, but perhaps understandable due to what’s involved.

I realize this article is about 16 months (from when I’m commenting), but still helpful. I thought I’d let fellow Texans know that for reasons unknown, Honda no longer sells the Clarity plug-in hybrid in Texas. Even in the “progressive” Austin area where I live, you can’t buy a new one - except for limited inventory

I do in fact have a 21-year-old vehicle (1997 Toyota Tacoma). I went through 3 cheap Bluetooth FM Transmitters before settling on the Roav SmartCharge F2 Bluetooth Receiver/FM Transmitter.

My wife and I will celebrate 35 years in a few weeks. I can say from experience that...this is a really good article. Very good and thoughtful points. I wish we had had some of these insights when we started out. We’ve ended up landing on most of this ourselves, but not without a lot of mistakes and hurt feelings

Highway 33 starts in Ventura (technically, San Buenaventura), not Ojai. Disclosure: I used to live/work about 1/4 mile from the 33 in Ventura, off “the Avenue” for those who are locals.

I too would be interested about Health/Medical resources. My wife is a nurse and is considering a change. LinkedIn works just fine for me (software/tech), but it doesn’t seem to be fine-tuned for the medical field.

Todo.txt, created by Lifeahcker's founding editor Gina Trapani, is still one of our favorite to-do list managers. Plain text is a great way to manage your to-dos, and Todo.txt's command-line app is easy to use. But if you prefer something with a graphic interface, TodoTxtMac is a good alternative. Just like the
