It’s more like 2 than it is the pre-sequel. But imo Pre-Sequel had the beeesssst end-game boss.

Oh, for sure. I absolutely adore both Costume Quest games. When you boil them down to their base elements, they’re super basic and can get very repetitive, but they’re so damn charming! I just can’t get enough of it.

But the kids with no money and eternities of free time are still around, and I think many of the people this article is directed towards are younger and more vulnerable players who maybe don’t yet have the experience and self-awareness to understand when a game is actively making them feel worse.

This was a good series that I recommend, but was not as won over by as others seem to be because I felt like Sound! Euphonium explored some of the same themes but did so better.
