Going to school in Kansas my buddy actually bought a LUV. 78 or 79. Really wasn’t impressed, at least compared to the Toyota or Datsun counterparts. That said, I’ve never seen an 11,000 mile vehicle in that poor of condition.

Had a ‘95 2500 with the V-10 automatic combo.  Engine was thirsty but OK.  Seems to pull better than my buddy’s big block chevy.  But the 4 speed auto was terrible under load.  A manual would have been so nice.
