So Adam is working with Jeff to do the blackmail, then? He’s definitely involved in it, way too suspicious of him to turn up at Shauna’s house just then.
There is an intense conversation between Taissa and Shauna about Nat’s addiction, with Shauna taking a far less sympathetic position.
I was just glad they didn’t go the “I’ll have you know I’m actually a virgin!” route and it was all just rumors.
But Shauna did receive one, didn’t she? She pulled it out of her pocket (or something), and it was folded in half. It was shown briefly after she denied having received one.
that scene was so hard to watch... i never looked up coat hanger abortions. i just assumed one of the shoulders was used but they used a very sharp torn rod piece from a hanger which was way worse than what i had assumed. i was internally screaming.
Personally, I think Alicia Witt would be PERFECT as adult Van.
I think one of the fun questions is whether or not Misty is a baddie. She strikes me as a “moral monster” who can’t actually internalize the importance of other people’s inner lives or feelings. If that’s the case, she doesn’t have a ton of control over her own impulses: she’s kind of like a cuckoo’s chick, pushing…
I lost it when Misty was blasting Phantom of the Opera in her car. Delightfully deranged.
That’s a good point. He should apologize publicly.
I guess I’m the only one who wasn’t feeling Crenshawn’s apology. You’re gonna drag me personally and my company all over AL Gore’s internet LOUDLY and then offer me this weak little quiet ass apology? Go apologize in public just like you dragged me in public, mofo.
Agree that the hang-out episodes are the best! I’ll miss them as much as anything else about the series. Loved when they laughed at Issa being inconsistent. Molly was a good friend to stop her drunk dialing. Good on Issa for not picking up the next day.
This was a great episode but I am fine never seeing Lawrence again. There is nothing about that story that’s got anything surprising to tell us at this point. And Issa’s journey has always been most interesting when it has focused on her career and friendships. I’m honestly more invested in her challenges with…
While I definitely think Crenshawn is being unfair to Issa, she should have gone up to him immediately after the event to mend fences with him. And if not then, at least when he started dragging her online! Showing up now is way too late, and it’s clear she’s only talking to him because she needs something from him.…
I think it’s more of an indication of how much folks don’t want Issa with Nathan.
I loved Issa’s housedog comments. I’m a little surprised Molly doesn’t have a dedicated dog walker because she must work crazy hours as a lawyer, but then I’m not a dog owner so I don’t know. Nathan is cute and an easy hang, but Issa needs to move on.
It’s only been two episodes but this show is a blast. Great stuff so far.
I simply love this show, and it’s the first time in a long while where I am really wondering who is going to make it out, who is safe and who isn’t. Beyond the core four, it seems up for grabs.
they uploaded the full first episode 2 weeks ago
i’ve been screaming this at everyone.
