Issa is straight-up charmed by Nathan’s vulnerability. A man discloses a little bit of his soul and women see it as an invitation to intimacy. It isn’t. And it doesn’t help if the guy happens to be ‘the quiet type’. More often than not it makes a guy seem deep when he actually just doesn’t have anything to say because…

Ugh, not back with Nathan.  I really need Issa to just find someone new, or be alone.

Lawrence is still trying to be the man Issa wanted when he needs to become the father his son needs.

It’s really great that the show is even playing mind games with the viewers. Who send the box of donuts? Who set up the speakers?

Exactly, and this was him reminding Kendall of that.

Should be an A. This season, even more than the others, feels like something special. Something that’ll be talked about decades from now. It’s so fucking good you guys

I’m pretty sure that security guy was the one who briefed Kendall about the cover up of his involvement in the waiter’s death.

I agree, I’m not sure Kendall really did set up those speakers during the townhall.

Laszlo is such a great character. He doesn’t care at all for power. He loves his wife completely. Like, there’s less than 0 chance he’d ever fall in lvoe with anyone else and you can tell. And it turns out he’s loyal as anyone ever was when he decides to be.

This was a truly perfect episode. I love to see longtime friends tangling with salvaging their relationship.

Also the panel moderator was trash. Not knowing the name of the organizations being represented? And just letting dead air happen after someone’s weird answer? Telling the other’s “that was a really good answer”? He was terrible. How did he get that job?

Shiv is Cersei Lannister, not as smart as she thinks she is. Shiv is just as coddled, damaged, entitled, reckless, volatile, and grasping as anyone else on the show. She is not a good person, as Kendall told her, she just thinks she is.

On the other hand, Connor had a good episode by displaying some basic human decency. He was the only one to hug Kendall, he defended Roman from Shiv’s nastier barbs and, for what it’s worth, he was the only one to admit he knew about some of the cruises stuff (no doubt still slightly shook from having to deliver Mo…

Shiv is getting knocked around like a piñata.
