My advice is to never watch the Michael Apted film Enigma, which has a hetero stand in for Turing, as well as spy chases, love interests, u boats, and all sorts of other crap. I mean, set it on a space station if you're going to do that.

Sounds more like a party game to me.
In 'A Perfect Storm' everything that occurs on the boat is entirely fictional, as there were no survivors. Which I found kind of infuriating as the drama on the boat was the least compelling part of the story.
