This has been my experience as an ex federal prison healthcare employee. It’s been well over a decade though, so it could be different, otherwise, it’s been my experience.

I have worked in a Texas max. security prison and a fed. penitentiary. You will only get the minimum in our state prison unless they sign up for trials, but the feds are usually a little more accommodating.

You’re about to trigger a panic attack for me, lol.

*Some* places do, but not many.

My pleasure. I wish more women were taught they can do this. Talk about feeling powerful both as a mom and a woman. To literally pull that baby from yourself and lay her on your belly and feel that warm weight. God, it was just so, so, primal, in a great way.

I’m not sure they’re getting paid.

It’s the same problem with “trigger warning.” Trigger warnings for people with PTSD who experience literal physical reactions to certain situations make sense. Trigger warnings in the sense of “Anything that anyone, anywhere, might find upsetting needs a content warning” are absurd. But the term is used in the latter

All valid questions, and I doubt even the trans community has definitive answers for any of them. This is a disorder that affects roughly 1% of the population and apparently is expressed/experienced in many different ways. I doubt the solutions will be quick or easy.

Are you trans? Do you speak for all trans people? Are your experiences the same as theirs? How for shit are your opinions?

My last two pregnancies were atrocious. I had given myself thousands of injections, weekly US’s, all that goes along with gestational diabetes and a blood clotting disorder, “advanced maternal age”, yada, yada, yada.

My best labor was with my middle child (even though it was also a godawful experience for many

Not sure why this just posted to an old ratched account of mine (in the grays) but this was my experience with a therapist, but I guess he was woMANsplaining, since he was speaking for all of us:

You mean, over leaving Stillwater or wherever the shit they are in Oklahoma?

So, how much of gender dysphoria has to be addressed with physical changes, and how much can be done with mental conditioning/treatment? Because I think she can work on accepting that women can have short hair. The hair thing sounds more like a pissing match than a medically necessary treatment, quite frankly.

Why is Oprah allowing this to occur?

It’s been this crone’s experience, that the only thing killed while under the influence of weed, is a giant bag of Doritos. (The “you fly, I’ll buy”, variety pack.)

Agree 100% with you. Between the racism and the misogyny, the deck was stacked on jump street.

I bet she (Martha) has the head of the guy who dented the 4th piece of luggage from the left in the gold colored bag.

Lauer has a history of putting the interview screws to the wrong people. During the run-up to the Iraq War, he never asked any representative of the Bush administration a tough question about the necessity of going to war. He just rah-rah’ed like most of the rest of the media. Then, when he interviewed Michael Moore

YAY!
