Rules for Riding in my Jet Car with the Air Intake Right Behind (?) the Driver and Passenger:

You are right the GT6 fits the bill better, I think they are really pretty cars.

$60,000 E type!!!

Since we have switched from Jags to Triumphs, the poor man’s E-type.

If you are trying to get out of the rolling debt thing and start saving money this is the car for you, Warren Buffet and Dave Ramsay would be proud of you for buying this for cash or a short term loan and living without a car payment and taking that money and putting it into savings and investments. Also not likely to

Go out and shop for a car these days and see what $7K will get you. Yes it is a little older, but as a guy who daily drove a 1999 Maxima for about 12 years followed by a 2002 Lexus for the last 8, this era is peak Japanese reliability, and you will be better off with this than a 6 year old Kia (which may not be a

Yes, “Right Stuff” era Corvettes the astronauts raced around Florida in have historical significance, the historical significance of what Alan Shepard drove as an older dude, not so much.  I don’t think it adds much if any to the value of the car, I am at overpriced by the factor of about 10x.

First thing that struck me is the color. Lots of the British versions in red, green, and blue, have never seen one in ruby red metallic (?), don’t know what colors Innocenti used, but I don’t really think this one looks very good on it.

Exactly, the main appeal on this type of thing is saying “I built a car myself”. This thing will not impress you or others, either looking at it or driving it, as much as a nice Porsche or Corvette from the same price bracket.

Exactly, if you want an R107 there are always several for sale on CL and Facebook even in my flyover state, they survive at amazing rates, not perfect, but very nice ones for somewhere just a little north of $10k.

Now playing

I don’t hate this nearly as the rest of the commnetariot here does, lookswise it carries things off pretty well. I read the headline first and saw the picture after, my expectations were very low, that always helps. but one of the coolest parts of old cars isn’t just the exterior, it is the how it looks from the

I am a sucker for little European cars, I am as sucker for old cars that look clean and stock and a little worn in vs. worn out, or modified, or restored to better than new. I have never owned an Italian car, or a real engines car, but both on the bucket list. I like a car I can tinker with a little bit.

you’ll probably never pass anything on the road-- #slow car fast.

Everything looks in order here, low miles and mostly stock, it is a cool looking truck with a cool name.  If you just needed to have it perfect you could try to find an original radio, steering wheel, and set of wheels, but that would mostly be time wasted on the internet, and we are all pretty good at amIright?.

Neat color, there were also some medium blues and bright greens from this era that were pretty rare and interesting.  I had never seen Moonstone before, didn’t know it existed.

Hope this makes you feel better as you shell out for the second rebuild or replacement of your rotary rocket. I really wanted to buy an RX8, this was 8-9 years ago. Half the ads or more were DOA cars or on their second motor, and appreciable number were on their third. My nephew bought one and had the motor die around

I would anticipate more frustration loading and using this app and figuring out how to fight an errant or unintended charge than any time saved or convenience from using it.  Sorry, no, I already have way to many service with access to my bank account.

Gotta call you out Mr. Bellwood on the 914 call. First, the car you seem to be talking about is the uber rare 914-6, that had a detuned 911 engine, most 914s had a 1.7 liter, 1.8 liter, or 2 liter 4 cylinder. Second, the 914-6 was considered a great sports car, being able to take on a contemporary 911. In the early

I agree after taking a closer look at the pictures, the interior and engine bay look nice, especially that interior. It doesn’t look like this was a rusty car, but there was some corrosion and it did not get a pull it apart bare metal respray. Car looks nice, but not top dollar nice, and I don’t know if even top

Great car, looking at past BaT auctions there was a nice late Bertone X1/9 that went for similar money to this one, but most of the rest of the nice cars are all over the map from $10-20k. This one really looks pristine, but can’t give a nice price at where they have it listed.
